Hey Bean, I somehow cut out the fact that I was going to a private art school. I hope you enjoy the video and that it can help you figure out if attending one could also be a good choice for you or if you want to save that money!

The best thing about attending Art School was seeing different approaches for an assignment.I learned so much from seeing how different students approached the same assignment .Better yet, I learned more from those students that followed their natural inclinations and artistic voice.

Yes, I felt the same! It was so cool seeing how different results came out of the same assignment. Very inspiring ✨ thanks for sharing 🩵

Appreciate this video. Really helpful and clear guide. Had me reminiscing through some memories as you shared your points.
Think a lot of the tips you shared at the end can be applied to life in general and are helpful.

i experienced art schools for years now. as an attendee and a teacher. I totally agree with your video, especially with the point that your own work, the hours you put into into it, brings the most bang for your buck. Art school can be a great place if you are open to connect with others.

I have such a varied experience of all sides to this. I studied my first year out of high school and the school I was apart of was just outright amazing and was everything you mentioned.
My skills Sky rocketed from where they were, my mind was alive and the environment was just gold. Being surrounded by other creative for the first time in my life, it was a dream.
Sadly this didn't last long, as a hand of a few unfortunate circumstances forced me to drop out and had to scramble. Studied in a different field, doing a much shorter course the year after, just to have something and start making something of a living. Then went back to studying the same course but at a different institution and city and my goodness, it was HORRIFIC. Ended dropping out after finishing the year. This time on my own accord. I just wasn't prepared to pay the mental amount of money 😅 for what I genuinely felt like was a waste.
Went the Self-taught route since. Its tough man. It can be fun in a lot of ways and matures your character big time if you're willing to let it and be honest with yourself. But definitely agree with the points you made with art school having that advantage of just learning quicker and also helping centre your progress with clear objectives and focus. Not that you can't do that on your own, but you just, you almost can't compare. Almost. Some mad disciplined folks out there 😅
Personally a lot of me wants to go back to artschool. For my own person reasons. There is a lot of me that feels hard done by not having that degree and hates having not finished regardless of the reasons why. There are many other reasons why I want to go back, but I won't get knto em.
The biggest thing for me is just personally for me, I just want to have that degree for n in the industry I love.
    The end 😅
