@@dadeftones7 naw fam, the cats aren’t hurting a thing. Plenty of street cars out there making way more power with cats installed. Being on E85 is good. Maybe run E90. I had drone in my 86 Mustang the way I got rid of it I purchased a set of DynoMax VT mufflers. They no longer make them due to the spring breaking, so far mine are still good. GM also did kind of the same thing with a spring loaded valve behind the muffler which helps with drone also.

I did longtubes to 3" y pipe with a kooks high flow cat and then flex pipe before the 14" magnaflow Muffler.. it sounds amazing compared to by built gmc sierra. One has 14" magnaflow and kooks cat. Stainless is an alloy of steel nickel and chrome I believe, the welding process boils out the the heterogeneous mixture exposing more of the steel to the atmosphere. Removing the top layer by abrading it or with acid returns it to a more heterogeneous state.

Awesome build as always. In the future before you pull off the LSA. Have it ported and run the same pulleys. I bet the truck will be much quicker just being more efficient.
Port blower and snout. Your effectively increasing the displacement of the blower. Also, spraying methanol pre blower cools intake air temps while adding supplement fuel and helps seal the lobes/rotors to the case. You can gain 1-2 psi of boost by just doing this
You talk about a low frequency drone even at idle. I had a very bad issue with that with my LQ9. Turns out it was due to having my muffler too close to the end of the exhaust. Someone called it "muffler echo" and I ended up finding a patent that referenced the issue. Patent # US4501341A if you care to read through it. Here is the section that breaks down the issue. I found that less muffler actually made for a more tolerable exhaust. "A problem faces the designer of a muffler for a motor vehicle, where the muffler had to, of necessity, be located behind the rear pair of wheels (or behind the rear axle) with a consequentially short tailpipe. In order to silence high frequencies other designers invariably specified a large muffler volume, with a large acoustic compliance, and with internal devices such as a perforated main flow conduit which have a low acoustical inertance at low frequencies and a high inertance at high frequency. Such an arrangement is satisfactory at high frequencies (over approximately 1000 Hz), however, the compliance of the muffler volume is in resonance with the inertance of the gas in the short tailpipe at a particular low frequency, usually in the range 30 to 100 Hz with typical dimensions in practical use. There is thus a frequency range, centred about this resonance for which the insertion loss becomes very poor and the radiated exhaust noise becomes high. An obvious solution to the problem is to increase the tailpipe length considerably to increase the tailpipe inertance and thereby place the problem resonance well below the operating range of frequencies."
Typically those flex couplers have a direction that the flow needs to go. Are yours that way? If they are backwards they can collapse and sling metal down your exhaust. We have something similar on locomotives and they take out the turbo if installed backwards.
At what point are you going to install v bands on the muffler since you change it out so much? like on either side of the muffler so its super simple and small to install and remove
