WOAH! That's crazy you posted this video! I just discovered by accident last week, by adding some DeadOn Redrum Sprews and Motor Oil Sprews together that I also got more red in the Motor oil and it looked very close to your video from last year. Now I want to try a new batch up and ad in some Redrum and measure the drop count to see if I can get close.

Just got my new version of Motor oil and I'm wondering did you ever try the upping of the motor oil color leaving the one drop of red. From you video the new is just too green for me. Anyway, love your videos and you constant strive to keep moving forward. I am still what I call new to the soft bait making world and I love seeing how you do things.

Dude, the Friday before Christmas was -3 during the day. I know this because the regulator on our gas line (we still have a gas furnace and gas stove) went bad and we lost heat for several hours. It makes the fishing all the more maniac once the ice gets off of the water.

I like the 1 drop red mix, but I'm finding that the new MF motor oil colorant is SO green that for a cup of plastic, 8-10 drops (at the MOST) is plenty and it doesn't get that solid green overtone. It's such a flexible but powerful tint that you really need to test a lot to see what formula you will eventually like. The heavy green overtone ruins it for me and takes it so far away from the original Berkeley and Zoom motor oil colors that are stuck in my head as that color. Easy on the new formula will result in much nicer motor oil color in the end.

A couple months ago, you received some Dead On Motor oil, how does it compare?
Was -36 - -40 in canada a few weeks ago. -46 - -48 with windchill.

You can use #3310 strawberry or add red glitter if you want red, pearl also looks pretty killer.
The x2 is the size, x2=2ounces, use to be 1 ounce for 40 years, that was a beating pumping 2,500 of each color back a decade ago.

Maybe the easiest way to get that color match might be to make a 2 cup batch with the one drop of red…. Also I got some of the first batches after the apocalypse and my numbers are different than the two you have there. A possible third formula?

A worm I used as a kid around 1987 in south Louisiana was motor oil red metal flake .. tomato blood red tail it was just just a 6 inch worm it was deadly.. made by Toledo Bend tackle. I want to recreate them
