Wooooow a year and the only thing they could come up with for a reason to group up.. is more loot...... This game is a money grab, there is no reason for this to be online, to have an online store or to be multiplayer, there is no GAMEPLAY to do as a group even a year after opening early access. All you do is grind and buy shit in the store.
I look at it like this, they lost a lot of their team, they are trying to keep development going, the only way for them to do that is with premium items. The bright side though is you can play the whole game for free never touching the premium store, also the store isn’t pay to win like most multiplayer games. So with that I am satisfied. It is going take a while before this game comes out in a full release. Open beta is more like us testing the game! I’m proud of Palia and everything they have done so far and it can really only get better from here!
