I just realized there's probably a lot of broken glasses on the floor in Dracula's throne room. I imagine that eventually the protagonist is going to start taking damage from all the broken glass on the floor.
With julius was like talk to a old friend but then is angry when say belmont like remember is eternal batles With yoko is so calm like respect And with alucard is a angry dad like okey well meet again son
Thank you for uploading these and saving me the time I'm so sad Dracula Soma NEVER TALKS. There's no monologue, banter, taunting, boasting, not even a death monologue and he doesn't even say anything to Alucard! Evil Soma talking was the thing I looked forward the most from Julius Mode and why I kept torturing myself playing it. There was so much potential for some great lore dumps. Soma could have regained Dracula's memories, revealed what happened in 1999 between him and Julius. Could have even had a conversation about Mina with Yoko. And definitely could have recognized Alucard as "his" son (since he's basically Dracula now). SO much potential for lore, character development/banter and also lost potential to have an alternate ending where you save Soma from the darkness was lost. :( I guess it was just a quick add-on mode. Sidenote: I didn't know you could fight Drac Soma as Soma. O.o
Yeah. Julis Mode is all around half-assed. In fact, there's barely any story or dialog in this mode at all. And this is STILL better than the alternate modes in other castlevania games.
If you want more evil soma content, you can check out Grimoire of Souls. He’s the evil dark lord for most of the that game and does talk to Alucard and the Belmonts.
Despite lack of dialogue in Julius Mode. The Somacula ending is 10x better thematically tragic. Hopefully Netflix adapts the Sorrow games in another Anime Castlevania. Have Mina actually die and it’s a repeat of Dracula’s wife being burned by church. They seem to be only adapting the timelines with Alucard so it would be perfect. Alucard vs Soma in the show would be a dream to see.

Or better:
Throwing it at you and dealing a lot of damage before the Fight begins 😂
that's why Soma is levitating
I guess he is the smart one, not wanting to step on all that damn glass that Dracula has been throwing for centuries LOL
Persephone cleans it up after each fight
I like how genuinely angry soma sounds with Julius , like , if Dracula's memories just couldn't forget the beating this old man gave to him
Dark Lord Soma: Come on... useless human!
Soma: But I'm your imbecile! >:v

In Japanese Somacula had some extra voice Lines that were cut out, though they simply were "Die" and "Give me Power!"
To the sidenote: You can't fight as Soma. It can be done with TAS, or probably debug

Yoko Belnandez~
Me and me quote against Soma was so cool
Very cool!
Ironically, the last quote in Dark Soma refers to Hammer (I'm not sure why he was cut in games?)
