6:30 Astronomical clock. The upper circle shows the clock, moon cycle, daylight, zodiac, etc., the lower circle shows the calendar. Every hour the doors above the circles open and the 12 apostles appear. It works for centuries. Fun fact: it was build in 1410. So, 82 years before the America was discovered.
You definitely can´t walk across Prague in 1 hour. JUst cross the Charles Bridge take you a half of it goings trought the crowd! Prague is full of museums, music and art. But there is definitely more than Prague in Czechia. We are the country with the most castles, chateaus and castle ruins per capita. About 2000 of them here. And there are more old preserve towns here, beautiful nature and, breweries, vineyards...
I am from Prague, and I love it, but I am not sure if someone who has been in every country can really know much about any of them, it feels like ticking boxes, probably with very short stops in many of them just to posture. btw: you definitely cannot walk across the city in one hour, you'd need to multiply that many times. I think it would be like 25km walk at least. He's probably just talking about the city centre, which is a small part of the actual city. Which again shows kind of a shallowness in his approach, even if he claims to have lived here.
Pretty accurate comment. Roaming from one country to another, especially if done during the so-called "gap year", just ticking boxes and taking a selfie in front of a famous landmark like it's some sort of competition, may be considered a rite of passage by most young people but it's an attitude I find very shallow IMHO.
My tu v podhůří nic takového nemáme.
I´m Czech, but I can´t handle how much crowded Prague become. I simply can´t handle it with my crowd phobia. However during covid restrictions I have made several trips to the capital and I have to admit, damn it´s beatiful! Unfortunately for me, crowds of turists had returned so I have to wait for another pandemic :D
One very interesting and fun fact about Prague is how often it is in movies branded as different European city.. Prague has been: Venice,Vienna,Warsaw,Berlin,London,Moscow,Bratislava,Zurich,Paris,Vatican,Amsterdam...If you've seen a movie taking place in Europe, chances are its actually Prague even if it says its not haha
Hi, just FYI, the footage is very old, I assume from 2012 or around - a lot of buildings have been renovated, new ones have been built, the Wenceslas square fully renovated, parking forbidden, National museum fully renovated, etc., the city look much more gorgeous these days.. And btw., Prague has been titled the most gorgeous city in the whole world in 2021..
I like how this guy is commenting all theese videos..abd I moved to Prague 6 years ago and I still love the city because I found myself there..Prag may not be best in the world but the level of freedom, chill people, entertsiment you have there..❤❤❤.
nice video, that clock is Astronomical clock , third oldest and the only one still working in the world . BTW iam glad that u like our country and i rly hope that u one time will be able to visit us .
nearly 20 years ago we, a ground of eleven friends and me, were stranded in prague at winter, after the train from slovakia was late and we missed the train back home to germany. So we spend the night in prague with another young passenger, called "the thirteenth". We all had an awesome night, in a lot of bars and puds, visiting the famous signs and bridges. It is one of the best memories i have. P.s. our group was at the age of 16 or 17 at this time with one girl at 18 , old enough to rent the residence in slovakia over new years.
I'm from the UK. My brothers stag do was on Prague. And yes the night life is awesome. But there is so much more to the place. We got to do this wicked steel toboggan run up on the hills. Can't remember the name of the place but was awesome. Also got to fire real guns. This cracked me up. It was set in a backstreet pub. You can have a beer, watch the 2 minute safety vid, and then straight down to business and go fire the guns out back. Went in summer as well and was very hot. There's a lot of German tourists, they know all the best strip clubs lol ; )
What I cant find out in North America good and plenty good fresh bakery /and great Czech sweets delicious !! And even Czech Burgers are top 😅and their traditional fresh cooked pub Meals/…..not just fast foods as junk !? 😮
@@ladislavvalnoha3318 It was really nice. I was mainly in the city center, where it looked like Vienna. It was not like I pictured a Eastern European/ex-communist country, because I have been in Romania before, where it looked much more eastern/blocky. And I nearly drowned in the river there.
I was born in Prague and I’ve been living here my entire life, and I had never found it so cool before I started traveling 5 years ago. It was just normal to me, and I even felt embarrassed in front of foreigners about those things that are not so nice, like dirt, buildings in bad condition, not perfect sidewalks and roads etc. Then I started to travel - to be honest only within Europe - and I saw each city has these things not to be proud of, so there’s no need to be ashamed, and I just realized that Prague is really one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Btw I don’t think it’s underrated, it’s pretty crowded with tourists, it would be just nice if they didn ´t see Prague as a place to get easily drunk (European tourists), or as a museum (tourists from the rest of the world).
years ago when I got to some meetings with friends it was actualy q normal that when we got to a bar on old town (not in Prague but in Wroclaw - Poland) a group of adults who was supervising a group of teenagers would let 15 year olds to drink some beer, it was not huge beer but it was like a cup of coffee :) Normaly its 18 to be able to drink alcoholic things but as 15 is not much younger than 18 and they were in the company of adults and it was only beer, nothing stronger, we assumed that it was ok. :)
I live in Prague and I think its really hard to say which city in Europe is the best. I love Lisabon, Rome and many others. But there is definitely something magical about Prague and I didnt met any tourist who doesnt like it. Btw Czech Republic is one of the safest country in the world, so its also really peaceful here.
I love to hear it’s safe as well. I love the USA because it’s where my whole life has occurred but we face many issues lately and safety isn’t great here. It’s not as bad as the media portrayals but it’s not great either. I hope to walk around many Czech cities/villages someday🎉
I think that one of the charms Prague have that its city centre wasn't destroyed during WWII. The only bombing of the inner city I know off is the infamous 14th February 1945 which is said it was a mistake and the original target was Dresden. And the city didn't undergone through huge rebuilding so we still have original medieval buildings and the oldest buildings are from 11th century.
Czech cuisine is great, you just have to know what to order. BTW: The Pilsner beer as we know it today is like 160 years old. The "1000 year old tradition" is mostly bull. Yeah, they were making "beer" in the 1100s, but it was very VERY different.
Prague is also the No.1 location for bachelor parties. You can do loads of activities there in and around the city. We're heading there for one of my best friends bachelor party trip in two weeks😅
Yeah, and we all here hate it.. A bunch of drunk tourists making a mess and not respecting anything. We are fine with tourists but these parties are trully hell.
@@lukasloucky3341 Yes, I can imagine... Rest asured, at least the group I'm there with is a lot more civilized than the average bunch of bachelor party guys... We're basically going to do a quick one day tour of the city center and go have a drink in a club at night. But I already know I will be back to take a longe closer look at the city later...
one hour from one end to another? :D ya just the old town or city center... Once I walked for 5 hours from end to end... and even there it was not from the extreme end to extreme end.
From czech person there is something about orloj 😉 The Prague astronomical clock or Prague Orloj (Czech: Pražský orloj) is a medieval astronomical clock attached to the Old Town Hall in Prague. The clock was first installed in 1410, making it the third-oldest astronomical clock in the world and the oldest clock still in operation. And he cover Prague in this video very good 👌 worth to visit if you have a chance and not only Prague, there is more to explore in this small but Beautiful country 😄
"You can walk from one end to another in under an hour." lol, it takes an hour in a car. What he's showing is the center, where nobody lives because it's so damn expensive.
Český Krumlov is also in the Czech Republic and quite amazing stunning beyond words. There is a open air theatre with a revolving auditorium. TH-cam videos are available
Prague has really some special features which other cities don't have and most of Czechs don't realize that before they start traveling. Czech national sport is complaining, so you always here (from Czechs) how bad it is here and how terrible everything looks like and how nothing works, but in reality, when you visit some other countries and bigger cities in Europe, you mostly realize that life in Prague is really much better. Only thing which is problem in last years is fastly growing price of housing, it's starting to be really expensive with a Czech salary, but still, difference between Prague and other cities or even villages in prices is still not that big compared to how it is in some other countries, so even when you are from some village and you wife which also has salary (or some friend or whatever you live with) you can just move to Prague and you can hadle it, that's not possible in some other countries where rent of flat in capital city can be several times more expensive than in some other cities. But main advantages of Prague are: 1. Public transportation, really, people from Prague always complain, but they don't realize how superior it is to have year pass for few bucks and just travel without any barriers, it's so easy, simple and realxed compared to other cities where you have to constantly opening somes tupid gates and everything is complicated and everything is bothering you, you really don't need a car in Prague and many Praguers I know don't even have driver license 2. Many green places, parks, fields, forests and meadows even in center of Prague or when you want to visit actual forest, you just jump to metro and you are there in 15 minutes. And green places in Prague look more natural, which I like, it's not like all those fancy articifal parks which are surrounded by fences and locked at night, in Prague, you can find a lot of real wild nature which I like. 3. There is alwayas something happening - concerts, festivals, dozens of theaters and cinemas, street events, farmer markets, unlimited amount of pubs, bars, caffés, restaurants, when you don't like one place, you walk 50m and you find some other places, when you don't like prices in one supermarket, you just go to other one, it's so simple. And thank to big market competition, you can shopping in Prague for much better prices than in small cities or villages. I live in 3000 people city now, so I really know something about that, you can't even find bread here when you go to shops after like 3 PM, that will never happen to you in Prague. 4. Super easy traveling over Europe, especially to Germany, Austria or Poland, you just jump on train and you are in Dresden in 2 hours or in Berlin or Vienna in like 5 hours, you can sit in dinning car, having a lunch and beer and then you jump out of train in Berlin, it's so amazing. 5. Historical center can be pretty expensive, but good thing is that you don't have to go there at all, most of Praguers live in some other parts of Prague or in older commblocks, which are all renovated now and surrounded by greenery, you have everything there, so you really don't need to travel to "Disney land" in center if you don't want to. 6. Even when some small criminality can happen, like pickpocketing, Prague is generally very safe city, you will barely see some violent criminalty, there are a lot of pickpockets and cheaters, but that's in all bigger cities, if you are careful, nothing bad will happen to you, nobody will shoot you for few coins or something. 7. Things are getting better pretty fast, that change in last 15 years is massive. When I was kid, Prague looked dirty, everything was grey, buildings were dark from smog...now it looks better than many western cities and something interesting is always happening, new tram lines are in construction, new metro line in under construction, many cool things are planned. There is definitely much more, but these things are probably the most important. I live in a small citiy for 10 years and I really want to return to Prague for any price. My main reason are people, people in Prague just don't ask you where you got money for a new phone or something like in small city, I totaly hate that small city culture where everyone envy you everything and everyone is talking about you when you are not typical male who cares only about football, cars and fish hunting. In Prague, you can walk naked at street and nobody cares, which I like and you will find some interesting people everywhere, while here in a small city, everyone is behind their walls and when they leave, they are hidden in their cars, while people in Prague are walking a lot, going to pubs, visit museums and many other places and events, I just miss culture, people here in a small city are terrible rednecks, they consider everything a wasting money, you will not force them to go somewhere with no reason just to check what's there, they just don't do that, that's why I want back to Prague.
Were in prague with all last year clsses of our high school about 20+ years ago. Sadly almost all our teacher did was dragging us from one old (church)building to the next. Great impressive stuff but after 20 ones in one day it got... Plus people constantly trying to sell drugs to our class as a whole and our teacher got pickpoted twice in the tram. "Would you be so kind as to remove your hand from my pocket." Friendliest way I ever heared someone react in a situation like this and never seen anyone run so fast with my own eyes afterwards either... mfg Olli
Unfortunately a rule was introduced to stop beer being the cheapest drink on the menu. It used to be that you could buy half a liter of beer for less than the same amount of water. Which to this day makes me wonder how as beer is well mostly water with quite a bit of additional work being put into making it into beer, yet it was usually cheaper than water in bars and restaurants. Walk from one end to the other in about an hour maybe if you are Usain Bolt and do not ever need to stop running... Prague is not a large city by any stretch of the imagination but only the center you can cross from one end to the other in about an hour to really go from North to South or East to West you are going to be spending a lot more time than that. The longest metro ride takes a good hour and you never leave Prague. So it is a little bigger than the touristy center. Having lived in Prague for quite a few years now, it does not loose it charm though when you see it every day you tend to really need to make it a point to see the beauty as it does over time become normal.
It’s the best city in the world. I arrived for first time in 1978 ( yes with CCCP) and after several ti es for all country . The more spectacular city . It’s culture, it’s music , it’s Art .
@IWrocker 4:10 tbh, I had my first beer when I was 6 and first shot of home made "pálenka" when I was 7. Actually started drinking around 15, but yeah...first beer and hard liquor was with my grandpa when I was rly small. Rest in peace Pa... We all miss you
I have lived there for five six years almost twenty years ago. I have lived in Paris, visited almost all the famous capital cities in Europe, and yes, there is only one Prague. Yet, I wouldn't be able to live there anymore. It has truly become more of a western city, which is not a bad per se, but it has already lost its magic touch for me. Still, I can drive to Prague within 90 mins and can go there pretty much any time I want to remind me of my younghood. Especially at night Prague is still the coolest and most beautiful city in Europe. And, most importantly, everyone's welcome in Prague.
Greetings from Czech Republic! I watched Your videos time from time, never I thought I would see You praise our Prague 😊 I believe it is beautiful city. Although every rose has thorns too. And I would argue the guy wouldn’t go from corner to corner in an hour, the City still have about million and half citizens… metro is reliable thought (Actually it takes almost an hour by metro or by a car from one side to the other) Cheers from Czechia!
I am from Prague, well i cant imagine you walk 30 miles in a hour... He meant the historical centre only... Btw, this is really not a comprehensive video of Prague by Drew Binsky.
Prague is definitely one of my favourite cities, XXX was shot in Prague too, but in the Czech Republic I much prefer the smaller villages. Prague is split up in 2 major parts, the new city and the old city, and even the new city is older than the USA. You would definitely find some awesome sites there.
Hello from Prague, my hometown, which is still magical for me, eventhough I know it a lot. You are very welcome here. Enjoy our beer, food and Škoda cars (they are lots of here on streets) 🙂. Btw. You have amazing blue eyes!

Good one. There are some minor mistakes, but it gives away Prague's vibe pretty well. Plus: two important documents of our post-WW1 stateship are called "Pittsburgh Agreement" and "Washington Declaration", so we have a weak spot for visitors from the US.
You seem to have fallen in love with the Czech Republic. As you know Czech Republic and Texas are very close to each other, there are a lot of Czech shops, restaurants and communities. If you ever go to the Czech Republic we would love to see you here

Great video and I am glad you like our country. I would also point out one fact about the Prague castle - not only its base is very old, from 9th century, but it is also the biggest ancient castle in the world! It's occupying area of almost 750.000 square feet and you would find this fact also in the Guiness book of records.
Maybe independent-dependent oppinion to, why do you feel Prague (Czechia) the best Place. I share the feeling with you. I am originally born Czech, raised by Russians, grown-up in Afghanistan. In my life I worked mainly with cultures like Arabs, Indians, US, UK and again Rusians. I have three native languages (I mean I think and dream in three languages). After all these adventures I am back here in Czech Republic, happy to know, there is a place I can call home. There is personal and property safety at level not known even in Switzerland. Not due to strong law, but due to soft environment. Friendly people all around you. Not because they were told to be such, but they simply feel like this. Rules works not because the law is applied strictly, but because life flows like this.
If You will appear in Czechia, just let me know. I can be a guide for truck-part of your visit. As I told before, that I still livei in Kopřivnice (Tatra site). On top of this , my father was a Tatra salesman througt 60' - 90' travelling all around the world. He is still willing to tell stories. And he also knows personally Tatra repesentatives from those famous times which are still alive. Don't miss a chance. Richard
Let us know if anytime planning trip here! As a Prague born guy, who traveled a bit around as well, Prague has its magic. As every place it has its own problems, but from what I have seen around the world, it seems as really nice place to live or visit.
this could be up to your taste.. in a different area of Czech Republic, but if you come here, this could be interesting for you. Tatra Muzeum, new exposition since 2021 I think... th-cam.com/video/gj8DTMwFwbc/w-d-xo.html
I am so proud of Czech history.Czech traditions, the Czech nation is so wonderful.Unfortunately, today's times and today's politics are killing our pride in the Czech Republic.I am sad that many Czechs forget what it really means to be a proud Czech😔But I still believe that things will change and get better soon...Anyway its still beautiful here... history, nature and also a lot of people who are still on the right path🙂I hope that one day you will visit this beautiful country and be able to feel it for yourself🙂
I live in Switzerland and i traveled in Prague 8 years ago. The city is small but very nice and one of my favorite cities here in Europe with awesome architecture. You know Prague was the home of the Bohemian empire.
I was i Luzern a few months ago and was really surprised how it felt like a little Prague. A lot of central european/germanic culture share the same history, architecture, etc.
The beer looks like Staropramen, we drank a few of those in a nice beer vault back then, along with some Becherovkas. By the way, people were not very friendly to us because we are Germans. But I also know what to think of Czechs and Slovaks.

One correction about the beer - no, we haven't been brewing the same beer for a 1000 years. The "original" Pilsner was first brewed in 1842 by a German brewer Josef Groll, who was invited to take over a new brewery built in the town of Plzeň (Pilsen in German). This brewery was built because the locals got used to the imported Bavarian-style beers and wanted those instead of the beers brewed locally (which would consequently go bad and have to be poured out); hence the need for a new brewery which could brew those beers, and a brewer who knew how to brew them. This new process, together with the specifics of the local water and the wheat used in the brewing, worked to create the typical golden colour (which was unlike the muddy brown colour of the other beers available at the time). The brewery took advantage of that in their marketing thanks to the boom in the glasswork industry happening at the same time - they distributed shiny new *glasses* to pubs to replace the various mugs used at the time just so the customers could see the shiny gold of the Pilsner and compare it to the brown of all other beers, and it worked wonders.
We had influence from Germans, the architecture, food, mindset etc.... We Was in the holy Roman empire (yes we had independence but the sphere of influence was there) but we transform this influences in our culture. Germany is like our dad.
I was at the Pilsen brewery last year and they told me at the excursion that Josef Groll was there only for a tiny amount of time, he was very problematic person and he was then fired and the final product was cultivated in to what it is today by many other brewmasters, like 6,7 of them, half of them being German/Austrian half of them being Czech. I don't get why everyone wants to always credit Germans whenever there is a history about the Czech Republic, but i guess you having germanic name that's been redone in to a Czech name really tells us a lot.

@@bukelos2804 Umm, 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵? What does my name have to do with anything? I don't go around thinking, "I wanted to credit Otto Wichterle for contact lenses, but damn, my surname won't allow me to." (By the way, "Wichterle" - not a particularly Slavic name, is it? And Otto is just straight-up German. Can you smell the cognitive dissonance?) It's not even a particularly good ad hominem attack. Pilsner Urquell's own webpage specifically names Josef Groll, not any other brewer. Go back to the iDnes comment section with your BS.
@ Your name and comment suggested that you are one of those guys who wants to credit everything czech to germans. That's it, I have seen many ppl doing that many times. Don't take it too personally, I just pointed out the connection, you on the other hand nitpicked a guy that supported your narrative and then started to insult me by generalizing something about idnes comment section. Congratz... :D Look i can do the same, i can nitpick for example Matthias Sindelar or Hans Ledwinka and start with your arguments, but i won't, because despite having Slavic surnames, they were still Austrian. They can state one name by all means, it's a generalized history, so then i added more info, because i was specifically there, listening to what they were saying and then watching all the portraits of the other brewmasters that were there, hanging on the wall, next to Josef. So why ingore what i said? It's more information on this topic, why you simply skip it and then say something what they have on their web pages? I am sorry if you take it as an attack, i wanted to add more info, because yours was suggesting that it was a work only of one guy. Which it wasn't.
What is now Czech republic used to be part of the Austrian empire for centuries, wasn't it? And the Austrian empire was part of the Holy Roman Empire of German Nation wasn't it? If you want or not the Czech history is deeply connected to German/Austrian history. The Austrian empire with all its flaws was a multinational and multicultural empire where all the local cultures and languages did coexist pretty well. Our European history with all its national specifics and nuances is a very mixed international culture after all. We shouldn't be overly proud of national heritage but keep in mind our common heritage instead. Nationalism only causes tensions and wars!
Prague is definitely not underrated in renting and housing prices. Luxury dubai condos can be less expensive, than Prague's low standard old apartments from 1910-1930.
I think you would enjoy "USA vs EUROPE - Guide To Cultural Differences" by HONESTGUIDE. You reacted to his video "What Europeans call American" or something like that.
The clock you are so interested in is the Prague Astronomical Clock. It is the third oldest and the oldest still working astronomical clock in the world. It is impossible to list here what all this clock can do or measure, because it is really a lot. If you want to know more it's better to look at wikipedia or something similar.
I'd like to recommend you one yt channel about czechia. Honest Guide is from two guys from Prague and are pointing out on what's comercial and "tourist trap" what to avoid and what to be aware. On the second hand they're showing the true jewels of Prague.
I've moved to Belgium 6 months ago from Portugal, besides already hear about Prague and wanting even more to go there. Here in Brussels I use a service that I can borrow a car from the street called Poppy. And Every time I drive a Skoda I get surprised of how they are good cars. Even when I compare to the Audis that I use as well.
Unfortunately, this competition in comparing cities is quite superficial and subjective. If he has traveled all over the world and finds Prague the most beautiful, that says less about all other cities and much more about his personal taste. Prague just has everything he expects from a city, which certainly doesn't make it the best city in Europe objectively.
Home sweet home! A city of 100 spiers! I really suggest this video: th-cam.com/video/awhza6bcuw4/w-d-xo.html Its a good overall history of Prague...from 880 year and around to this day!
4:30 They have NOT been brewing the original Pilsen for 1000 years! This beer style didn't exist until 1842 (similar styles did exist, but not in Pilsen).
"You can walk from one end to the other in about an hour"... Well, that may be true to the old town and inner city, but If you really wanted to walk the entire city from one end to the other it would be about 2-3 hours of walking.
Hey IWrocker, if you're already making a cultural and social comparison between the USA and European countries from the point of view of an American man, how about watching some of the Dream Prague channel videos by American Jennifer Preston, who has been living in Prague in the Czech Republic for 11 years? I recommend watching the video entitled "ŽIVOT V AMERICE A V ČESKU - KVALITA ŽIVOTA" (easy to find on TH-cam) or "USA vs ČESKÁ REPUBLIKA (šokující rozdíly ve zdravotních systémech)", in which he summarizes these differences in general, and in other videos he discusses individual aspects of life in Prague in more detail... 🇺🇸🇨🇿😉👌👍
Well Europe has so many beautiful 'best cities', there is one for everyone. I prefer a different one. Also it's only cheaper if you don't make your earnings in Czech Koruna.
Come to Prague man, make contact with me, i and my gf will made you two days of your life with least known historic and great beers :) Thx for the vids
He says it himself: He keeps coming back to Prague because eating, drinking and living here are cheaper than in Western European countries, and significantly cheaper. Just because it's cheaper doesn't mean it's worse, on the contrary. Cheers to Bohemian cuisine and Bohemian beer! But then one may be allowed to ask why the Czechs drink so much beer. The Czechs themselves will not see it as cheaply as the Western Europeans. Everything else is the same price, only the Czechs earn less and many people therefore live in prefabricated buildings on the outskirts of the city and very few can afford their own car. The touristic sites of Prague are no better or worse than in Rome, London, Vienna, Paris.

Going to Prague for the first time end of June, cant wait
Hi! I’m a Costa Rican who lives in Prague since 6 years ago. I absolutely love it! Best city on Earth. ♥️🫶🏻
nearly 20 years ago we, a ground of eleven friends and me, were stranded in prague at winter, after the train from slovakia was late and we missed the train back home to germany.
Prague is beautiful. It blew me away when I visited. I went to Budapest next and it blew me away. Both beautiful in their own way.
Im moving to prague in the next 6 to 12 months. I cant wait.
2:04 is that PPPíter? The TH-camr from Slovakia who makes mad funny videos?
Hi Ian, your videos are great and with love made, I´m from Czech Republic and you make a great advertisement for my country, Thank you !
I will go to Prague this summer, I am already excited.
How was it?
@@IWrocker You are welcome here anytime :)) Hope you can make big Europe trip someday

That clock is Staroměstský orloj and it is the third-oldest astronomical clock in the world and the oldest clock still in operation.
I'm a Brit and I love Prague. Yes, it's up there with the best cities in Europe
But main advantages of Prague are:
1. Public transportation, really, people from Prague always complain, but they don't realize how superior it is to have year pass for few bucks and just travel without any barriers, it's so easy, simple and realxed compared to other cities where you have to constantly opening somes tupid gates and everything is complicated and everything is bothering you, you really don't need a car in Prague and many Praguers I know don't even have driver license
I am not a fan of big cities, but I really enjoyed Prague. Lots to do and see, food and beer is fantastic. Cheap too.

Jinak Praha je rozlohou obrovská! Jenže vy se pohybujete jen v centru turistické Prahy. Praha je dvakrát větší než Paříž!!
We
Was in the holy Roman empire (yes we had independence but the sphere of influence was there) but we transform this influences in our culture.
Congratz... :D
Look i can do the same, i can nitpick for example Matthias Sindelar or Hans Ledwinka and start with your arguments, but i won't, because despite having Slavic surnames, they were still Austrian.
Prag is absolutely one of the most beautiful cities in Europe
Prague is definitely not underrated in renting and housing prices. Luxury dubai condos can be less expensive, than Prague's low standard old apartments from 1910-1930.
Yeah, you got beer, you got beautiful women and you also got one of the most difficult slavic grammars 😁
6:18 It is an astronomical clock.
@official_iwrocker..what?
I think you would enjoy "USA vs EUROPE - Guide To Cultural Differences" by HONESTGUIDE. You reacted to his video "What Europeans call American" or something like that.
When i think of Czech it makes me think of the film Hostel😅 I'd like to go there tho.ive been to Split Croatia that was very..🇬🇧
The clock you are so interested in is the Prague Astronomical Clock. It is the third oldest and the oldest still working astronomical clock in the world. It is impossible to list here what all this clock can do or measure, because it is really a lot. If you want to know more it's better to look at wikipedia or something similar.
No you cannot walk from one end to the other in 1 hour. 🤣 Unless you walk at speeds of about 25kph
Haha 😂
I'd like to recommend you one yt channel about czechia. Honest Guide is from two guys from Prague and are pointing out on what's comercial and "tourist trap" what to avoid and what to be aware. On the second hand they're showing the true jewels of Prague.
I've moved to Belgium 6 months ago from Portugal, besides already hear about Prague and wanting even more to go there. Here in Brussels I use a service that I can borrow a car from the street called Poppy. And Every time I drive a Skoda I get surprised of how they are good cars. Even when I compare to the Audis that I use as well.
New sub from CZ 👍😁
Unfortunately, this competition in comparing cities is quite superficial and subjective.
If he has traveled all over the world and finds Prague the most beautiful, that says less about all other cities and much more about his personal taste.
Prague just has everything he expects from a city, which certainly doesn't make it the best city in Europe objectively.
That’s true
Home sweet home! A city of 100 spiers!
I really suggest this video: th-cam.com/video/awhza6bcuw4/w-d-xo.html
Its a good overall history of Prague...from 880 year and around to this day!
Beautiful city. i was on vacation in prague last year. greetings from Germany
4:30 They have NOT been brewing the original Pilsen for 1000 years! This beer style didn't exist until 1842 (similar styles did exist, but not in Pilsen).
Beautiful, im going.
pilsner is 181 years old, but the oldest brewery in prague is from 9th century
4:15 since you love beer look up Oktoberfest.
th-cam.com/video/uozPGIidvlo/w-d-xo.html it is Prague astronomical clock link here --> en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prague_astronomical_clock
If you want to know more about Prague, find the honest guide channel 😉
Prague is hilly and is approximately 20 miles long from east to west. You can cross it in 4-5 hours, at best. Otherwise, nice video.
Did anyone who was in Prague manage to leave Prague sober? I didn't...😂
Maybe the children did 😂

You would love "National Technical Museum" in Prague. .....be aware "National Museum" is different place
Praha - až k ránu se chodí spát
Praha - není jenom most a hrad
Praha - je matka měst a nálad
Praha - co víc si můžu přát
Krásné, ale k té poslední části bych doplnil Brno :)
A Pavláku héráci tu stojící, Praha .....

Hello from city Znojmo ,Czech republic
Now that Amsterdam is too good for drunken parties, red light districts, coffee shops, there is somewhere else for them to go. :d
If you want to know more abt czech check out Honest Guide they are one of the best
