Ahoj, what czechs invented you could not remember could be many things, but I think its contact lensen what you forgot. But actually our people invent many things, but foreigners from bigger nations claimed some inventions instead, even if they intented them later, because we did not have that kind of reach. Major of my city was basically Czech Tesla. He had his hybrid car after 1st WW and many great inventions, including lighter wheels for electric train, which is actually design you can see on old Lamborgini like Countach. During communist era, there were so many great inventors, but they were hold back, so we are delayed in terms of technology.
