    The manual is referring to the THREAD size of the bolts, not the HEAD size.

    1, 2,3, 4 ... order when tightening, when loosing 12,11, 10 ... cheers

    You can't go wrong with a Factory workshop manual, I managed to get one for my 86 1100 from the local Suzuki dealer when they were closing down.
    And lately after years of searching (and actually being told they never printed one) i found a Factory, Yamaha printed manual for my 87 FZR1000, it was pricey with the shipping to NZ but well worth it. The Haynes one for these bikes does the 600s, 750s and 1000s from 87 to 96. Its trying to cover many models and years, and there are mistakes in it.
