    I love Phil's hardware I have been revamping my DIY table that I made in 2013....it's crazy how far the hobby has come and I was blown away with the quality of the Cleveland Software Design hardware that Phil makes. I have the Flipper solenoid kits and his digital Plunger setup! Shipping is fast too to California. ABSOLUTELY BADASS. THANK YOU!

    This is fantastic. Thank you Phil for all the hard work and thank you Kong and Ricky for highlighting this for the community. This should be a no brainer to add to any A1up, Legends for plug and play instant proper flipper feedback. Definitely going to order when back in stock.

    I just bought 2 Flipper Boards, a 8 Port Relay, and 2 of the 4 Position Solenoid Life Extenders . . . Whew. Waiting until next paycheck to get some Solenoids lol. Awesome video :)

    Ok guys, I got the flipper kit installed, thanks! I often play after kids bedtime. Wife is going to murder me if I don't install an on off switch for solenoid. Can you send info on what you used that worked? Thanks!

    • @KongsRUs
      @KongsRUs  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I wired a 12v toggle switch between the power line going from the board, to the Solenoid. I had to wire 2 independent toggle switches so the Flipper buttons still worked Independently when switched off

      @@KongsRUs thanks, I've got some switches laying around. Fyi, and noteworthy. My ALP input wires for the buttons were reversed coming out of the main board. I couldn't get the flippers to work but once I reversed +/- all is good.

      Switches installed. Thanks again for recommendation. Game changer for me... Although I ended up playing until 2am in my new "silent" mode.

      Hi guys, do you have a link to the power switch I would need to follow this? I also pinball late at night and my wife would kill me because of the solenoids (just waiting on them to arrive), haha

    Just got mine and installed them in my legends pinball. They work fine and have a great sound/feel, but I now have noticeable flipper lag and at times I hit the button and nothing even happens. I've checked all the wiring and nothing is loose. Any ideas? These things feel great, but I can't enjoy the tables if I have too much lag or can't count on it to fire every time. I just ordered some happ buttons to replace the cheap ones in the ALP. Hoping that does the trick. I don't want to remove them. They feel so good and "beefy".

    • @KongsRUs
      @KongsRUs  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You might need to double check your wiring from the encoder board to Phil's PCB. The positive/negative wires need to go a certain way so check that. Then make sure they are absolutely secure and screwed in

    • @joshlacey6909
      @joshlacey6909 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Rechecked all wiring, and it's secure. When I first installed them I did have the wires flipped like you mentioned, but that led to the solenoid firing with no recognition of the button being pressed in the software. Once flipped it works, but I have this occasional missfire and flipper lag. Phil is working with me to trouble shoot. Might be an issue with the power supply.

    • @joshlacey6909

      Phil is the man! He helped me trouble shoot everything, and it turned out to be a bad power supply. New one is in and these things are amazing! Phil's product is great, but his service is even better. Kudos Phil.

    This is an awesome product! Maybe someone can help me with the setup? My usb encoder sees the button as constantly being pressed down when connected to the solenoid kit. Tried both zero delay encoder and Ipac2 with the same results. Any ideas?

    • @KongsRUs
      @KongsRUs  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You need to the flip the postive and negative wire to the button input I think

    @Kongs-R-Us If you were installing these in an ALP and you didn't have the two contactors already on the lower crossbeam, would you hav considered putting these there instead of on the side panels? For my build, I am going the SSF route and was thinking that putting these on the crossbeam would make them seem closer to the actual location of the flippers on the table.

    • @KongsRUs
      @KongsRUs  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Cross bar is a good location too, but I think you need longer wires to reach there, so that's why I think the sides are a bit easier to mount

    can you install this on a stock arcade1up pinball cab?

    • @KongsRUs
      @KongsRUs  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, but there's always decent Solenoids on the stock A1up cab. These would just make them a bit stronger

      @laurencecoxon9760 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The physical installation is easy. For the life of me I cannot get DOF or DOFLinx to work. But the solenoids do work when manually tested. And, they are LOUD!
