    That Dreamcast homage hit me right in the nostalgia feels. Makes me even more proud to be an ALM supporter.

    this type of simple, capable, intuitive sequencer has been needed in eurorack for so long. instant buy from me.

    This is refreshingly un complicated with enough triggers and gates to get a real handful of things going combined with Pam’s it’s killer 👍 congratulations for this

    This seems like a great bit of kit! But my heart sank after hearing the words "rewards muscle memory".
    I can only commit so many "secret hand shakes" to memory, lol! I would happily give up some HP for an expand module with surface self-evident controls.

      Think a screen would of helped, plenty of space for it :)

      @@juliaseppi2205 ---OR more direct function buttons - I'm guessing, keeping to a certain price-point is a factor.

    Impeccable timing. Yesterday I asked if there's an ETA on this, today there's this! Perfect balance of immediacy and depth, I love it.

    I like the integration with PAM'S. I also like the accessability. I love Hermod and Usta but they are not easy (for me at least) to use on the fly.

    ALM is amazing. Too bad they only do Eurorack modules, if they did a standalone groovebox/synth/drum machine, I would buy it in a heartbeat.
    Hell, I'd even buy a VST if they made one. Eurorack is just so bloody expensive.

    • @audeon_visual
      @audeon_visual 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I 100% agree. a groovebox by ALM would be an instant purchase for me too! I think something like that could rival Elektron boxes, Akai, Synthstrom, etc. That's a really great observation.
      I do want to say that Eurorack (in my personal experience), has been fully worth the investment. It certainly can be expensive, but I would also say that it may give you a great deal in return for the money, time, and effort.

    • @NervenklinikRecords
      @NervenklinikRecords ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree but you can also make a groovebox in eurorack.
      ALM Pams, ASQ1, Squid Salmple, an Mutable Plaits and a Mixer = fun for days

    Is there a "master mute" mode to have ALL the sequencer, quantizer and Triggers displayed on the keys for us to mute on the fly (rather than having to go to each part individually)? That would be amazing! Something like the keys 1-7 are on/off and 8 is (maybe) a solo function (Sorry if I missed that in the presentation). Amazing product regardless, looking forward to get one. Thx!

    Hey nice sequencer, how many patterns can I store for one CV channel? Didn´t find this info in the manual. Thanks!

  • @acidjack
    @acidjack 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    The SH 101 can work with rythmical Clock input that means each clock pilse triggers a step. that means if you trigger the sequencer with a tom out of a 606 you can create rythmical sequences, does your module has this feature too ?

    • @busycircuits
      @busycircuits  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Yes.

  • @portamentopirate

    Do you know if this sequencer would track one slice per key on squid if the pitch cv was assigned to slices? Looks awesome!

    • @busycircuits
      @busycircuits  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes but you would likely need to do some attenuation (or amping) / offsetting of the CV in to Squid. Squid does not currently map slices to 1/12volt steps.

    Can I do 4 pages of 7 steps each for Ventian Snares style stuff?

    • @busycircuits
      @busycircuits  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can do patterns of mis-matched odd lengths - that kind of thing ?

    • @Digiphex
      @Digiphex 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@busycircuits At 11:10, you are choosing a specific drum pattern page with the octave buttons. I am asking if each of those pages can have only 7 steps. I want it to go to 7 on page 1, then go to 7 on page 2, then go to 7 on page 3, etc. Then you can create a 7/8 time signature pattern like Venetian Snares. I also wonder, what directional play options does it have, reverse, random, ping pong?

    • @busycircuits
      @busycircuits  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Digiphex No, to do that if I understand correctly you need to create a 28 step length sequence and all the step would be 'joined' visually - it would split per visual page. Output would be the same though I believe. Just fwd direction atm!

  • @vertigev

    I really wish muting was easier and that you could mute and unmute multiple tracks at the same time.

    • @busycircuits
      @busycircuits  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      With the latest 003 firmware you could do a global load of empty tracks and effectively achieve this.

  • @cockur

    Ratcheting ?

    • @busycircuits
      @busycircuits  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Only if you specifically programmed it into the sequence. No shortcut for quickly adding/inserting.
