Practise that Century

  • In this video I demonstrate a very important practise drill to those among us who aspire to make a century break. For some this has maybe seemed to be a bridge too far and found that their own practise regime always falls short of their original dreams of achievement.
So this drill is as close to a realistic scenario in a competitive situation. Comprising most of the common shots to be executed in order to achieve this quite significant milestone.
Maybe you are just starting out and want to push yourself that extra bit forward? This drill will be a very useful gauge and give you a real sense of purpose to move forward. After each attempt, record your breaks to monitor your progress.

Hi Simon, It's a very realistic practice drill as all the others that you've made. Well done!!!

Hi Simon, appreciate the content however if this is an educational video then a cue ball visual showing how you are hitting each shot would be really useful. Alternatively or in addition a running commentary of your thought process for shots/choice of shots would be helpful. Otherwise I may as well watch Judd Trump later , I can see what you are doing , it’s the ‘how’ that I’m really interested in. Keep up with the videos though. Regards

Hi. I do have other videos on the channel that do just that. This was just to show people the exercise and how it would help them to improve. Maybe I will do a re-visit with commentary and the cue ball strike areas. Cheers for the feedback.

Thanks Simon, this exercise will be really useful to me when I progress to it. I started practicing on colours, and then x3 reds and colours, I’m now working on x6 reds and colours which I’ve nearly completed. Once I’ve unlocked the x6 I may go x9 reds in open positions & colours before this one in your video but this is definitely now on my progressive practice plan list. My feedback is genuine as I’m actually an ideal viewer for this video 👍
