❤ very good video. Ive always had a pair or two in rotation since the early 80s. The most expensive ones with the gummy crepe rubber pick up lots of lint and fuzz from carpets. They also turn black on the bottom and after a decade the rubber starts to separate since the bottoms are two stacked rubber peieces. The shacre ones are lighter in weight and the soles last longer. I even have a pair ive worn a lot since 2016. I can't find anything more comfortable but dont wear them in summer months.
so you actually have the Shacre for 8 years if its from 2016 look like they last long, I was thinking of buying the original this weekend but reading your comment Just change my mind because the Shacre are also less expensive than the originals, please reply if you get the chance
@@truthtell2588 yes my 2016 Shacre are much better quality than the ones I just bought. The only positive of current Shacre is they are light weight.
@JB-js4xi So do you think I should go with the original Wallabees instead of these current Shacre
@@truthtell2588 the shoes are SO different in weight and suede quality I think you should physically try them on to make the best decision. That's my opinion. Shacre is lighter but much lower quality all the way around.
@JB-js4xi The type that I am planning to buy is the black leather
I just got my boots today. Beautiful. Question. How is the rubber soul connected to the leather? Thank you...
My understanding - Wallabee style boot always sewed to sole from the inside, so you can't see the stitches since it is covered by insole.
I bought a few pairs in different colors... not one pair does not squeak. One shoe might be very little squeak but the other makes a huge squeak... had to send all pairs back. Sicks because other than that I really liked them
I got the vargo apron but they felt heavy & surely cant qualify as daily drivers..looking to return them & get these..are they any better really?
Great boots, bought it for my husband, he loves it!
I have been buying the originals for years I didn't even realise they did a Cheaper version they actually look good to me
I do have an original Wallabees as well, but this boots are super light and perfect for travel and running around.
I prefer the shacre li. It's more comfortable.. The Sole is more durable than the crepe as well. . Love it. Basically I buy the newer versions of all the Clark's classics. They're more durable and more comfortable. Same with the desert boot. I have the bushacre2 but my next will be the bushacre 3 which is more comfortable
Great video. What is the color?
Color is a Dark Sand. Thank you for watching.
Thank you very much.
I just ordered one the shacre one....well I think this comfortable for my office cleaning work...lots of squatting and walking up and down..but I remember back in the late 90s when oasis was huge every kid had a wallabbe ...I think this would totally shock those 90s kid who's moved on Jordans or whatever..they propably ..wonder oh why didn't I get this again 😂😂😂
i got some coming from amazing they said to size down half a size so fingers crossed
I have just found these on Amazon same colour for £43 in my size but wide. I have wide feet so hoping they will fit.
Are they TTS in length?
Yes, for me personally they pretty much TTS, good luck!
Very nice explanation ❤❤
В году 89-90ом клон этих ботинок выпускала тольяттинская обувная фабрика.Ботинки были неубиваемые - несколько лет носил их мой брат,а потом я использовал их у себя в столярке как рабочие ботинки.
These are on sale right now on DSW for like $71 after tax and everything
Great review!
Are these actual Clarks boots because I don't see them on the website.
It's the cheaper version they sell at Macy's and others.
They are Clarks, but the Shacre version, not Originals. They're cheaper than the Originals, but they're good quality and lighter. Another difference is that they come with a slightly squared toe box, unlike the Originals, which have a more rounded toe box.
@@MrRicardVanNordstram I have the brown variant. The leather is very very good.
Is the sole really crepe? It doesn't look like it is.
Yes it is actually crepe rubber the same as on original Wallabees. But it is not solid, there is foam (cork) wedge inserted in the heel area to make them lighter.
No-one ever comments on width fitting when talking about shoes
I am a 'h' fit, the widest. Are these shoes suitable?
I would say they pretty narrow. Thank you for watching.
Richard ashcroft was rocking them in the mid 90s waaaay before walter white
Can you put water repellent spray on these to keep them clean?
Yes absolutely.
The cheaper SHACRE boot side leather is like 1mm. Only the tongue is 2mm.
Which country is it made ?
Made in India.
Its not a hipster shoe lol Jamaicans have made clarks popular since the 60s
Wu-Tang brought me here!
Not only jamaïcains man
Did you keep them?
Yes I did, love them....super comfy.
did you have to size down half a size
They are true to the size to me personally, so I would not size them down.
@@Klaxet coming tomorrow might have to send them back then
@@jacoblowe387how was it? Half size down?? Im usually 10 in asics or Adidas
Are these the SQUEAKY Clarks?
Yes they are 🙂
@@Klaxet Awesome hahaha.
Wallabees knock offs
Dunce
Can't be knock off when its different..as the box says 'collection' not originals. The tags are different. Clark's has genuine factories in india.
@@theboyievtecpower4567 you know I was wondering what was the difference I never knew there was original and collection.
@@sade-yq8wqyup the shacre Clark's are better as the crepe doesn't get dirty like the original's crepe and it's very comfortable.
@@cyrusmufc2914agree I've worn both for a long time...the crepe ones and these shacre. Shacre are just lighter weight and the sidewalls aren't as sticky as gum crepe so they don't pick up lint, fuzz and hair. And they're cheaper. I have some I've worn since 2016 so yeah, they're durable too. Not knock offs....they're just updated
