Good to see another one. They're still around. I had a '67 Olds Cutlass Supreme. Wanted to drop a 455 in it and turn it into a drag strip monster. love yours.

Good looking car.Nice to see a young guy in an olds. I'm rebuilding a 67 Cutlass/442 I've had since 1970.Its been off the road since 1976. That's right I'm old but still kicking. Those are great cars and have their own sound. Thanks for posting the video.

My dad had one about 10 years ago with a 396 Chevy. Very badass. You need some flowmasters on that

I had a '67 Cutlass Supreme when I went off to college in 1974. It was a cherry red 2-door, with a black vinyl top. Mine had the 330 cu. in. motor that cranked out 320 HP. It also had a 2-speed automatic. Nothing like shifting out of first at 70 mph...and chirping rubber.

Yeah, it's a blast. I'm currently in the process of installing a turbo on it. I hope to have it running by spring

Awesome vid. Do you do the work yourself? I love these old machines but i dont know how to work on them so taking them to the mechanic can get really pricey.

Thank you! Yes I do pretty much all of my own car work, had a friend help me rebuild the Cutlass. I'll be posting a vid of that hopefully soon.

The 2 speed powerglide was never used in Oldsmobile. You likely had a olds jet-away trans. Thats what my 67 has in it.

@@aspireinc.1448 I've still got the original 2 speed Hydromatic. Gets up and Go's! with the 330 high compression. Great video.

The 2 speed was a Switch Pitch used by Buick Olds and Pontiac but Pontiac didn't have the switch pitch converter. They just used different names its the same transmission. Chevy was the only one to have a Powerglide. Glide. The transmission was built by Buick. Olds also used the 225 V6 earlier in some A body cars. That also was a Buick built motor later became the 3.8

It’s not a Chevy or mopar. In my opinion Oldsmobile was always a classy muscle car. Till this day you’ll see tons of chevys Camaro or doges chargers. But that 1 or 2 olds cutlass or 442 stand out.

That wasn’t a Powerglide, dude. It was a switch pitch Jetaway.

Honestly, I have no idea 😆 it was my 1st video, so there was a lot of trial and error. I have since rebuilt the motor and plan to do a follow up video. I have an instagram @aspire_incor that has the whole build. Thanks for the feedback!

@@aspireinc.1448 with the world as crazy as it is going, I hope you intend on keeping it for the dependability of a daily driver. The comments on classic cars usually are full of persons who had a neat ride that they let slip away from their life, myself included. You are making me miss my 71 Cutlass, 350/TH350 daily driver.
