@derekdamager7928 yeah, very subtle differences at full blast for sure. As I mentioned in the Unboxing video, we know Yngwie isn't going to go out and significantly change his tone after all this time. Thanks for watching and commenting!
THANKS 4 video man. First - you should really do an YNGWIE CORNER ALL IN ; ) maybe sell some stuff and buy YJM amphead and Marshall 4x12 T0 the PEDALS - i own 3 different RED FENDER OD - ONE sounds bright Fantastic - 2 dull OK - components matter Ive also bought some MXR as DUKE of tone - would say the MXR dist sound is in a way Nice but same way,,,,,dry correct, little bit compressed et c... My ERROR guess here would be Pedal 1 Sounds 'open in dist character and fairly clean nice bright Pedal 2 - Close to pedal 1 but LITTLE more muddy freq - not positive way in ear Pedal 3 - More compressed dist character , still nice dist sound overall.... I would guess as the MXR I think pedal 1 is the best for shred SOLOING neck PU - and pedal 3 would be my chugga chugga riff choice Have a nice day Brandon cheers from Sweden ( not tested new one yet - out of stock 1 more week)
@guitaremg8116 thanks for watching and commenting! I'm really not that technical of a player, it would take me forever to put together an Yngwie cover haha I added the reveal video to the description of this video if you want to see which is which 😁
Nope, I'll never watch another one of your vids. I did notice some variences, and would like, in ANY GD demo vid want to know which was what. But the fact tbat you suckered me in to watching you lean on a amp for six minutes with NO footage of you playing, or the "actual" pedals thumbs down.
@STRATMAN1969 you seem to miss the entire point of my more recent comparison videos, which is fine. Not everyone is going to like or understand the format, and that's ok with me. Time markers are on the video timeline (bottom), so you can jump around at will and listen to what I have to say, or skip it all together and only listen to exactly what you want to see/hear. The reason I play the guitar into my looper pedal in these comparison videos is to ensure as little deviation as possible in the sound of the gutiar. This way, the guitar is played exactly the same every single time, and my playing nuances can't change the outcome of the comparison. Why do I do blind tests? Because most folks seem to listen with their eyes instead of their ears. The reveal video for my comparison is linked in the description of all comparison videos. At the end of the day this is completely free content to you, and I make exactly $0 from this, so until someone starts paying me for it, I'll keep doing the videos how I want to do them. I imagine this will never be, and I'm fine with that since I do this to be educational, not to try to make money. Most youtubers that do have some sort of schtick, or create a fake persona. That said, I would love to see your video comparison of these pedals or anything else you care to critique without much thought 🙂🤗
my order of best sound: 1 then 2 then 3
Hell yeah! They all sound fairly congruent, hard to say there are any differences… which may be the point entirely

Which YJM Strat did you end up using for the riffs? I know you have a lot of YJM Strats to choose from there :)
@jazz_grooves I used the custom shop since it was sitting on the guitar stand. Thanks for watching and commenting!
was the mxr #1
@chrisnoble7362 thanks for watching and commenting! The answer is no, lol. The reveal video is linked in the description
1>3>2
1 is more open
2 less high frequency
3 very close to 1
@@BlackOuijaaa great observations! What were you listening on by chance?
less is more...how can that be
@topa1798 well Uberschall vs Marshall I'm sure is a huge difference in gain
