Hoggies seem to have a large following with women for some reason.........even those ladies who don't like snakes seem to bend the rules when one of 'Pissy's' relatives are involved. I'm referring to Exotic Lair's famous Hoggie, drama queen extraordinaire
Pierce Hawke I love hognoses and several species of colubrid. Black tailed cribo is one of my other favorites, hognoses are adorable but they are also easy to house with their size. I don’t feel the need to prove what a big man I am by owning large aggressive species so maybe that is something to do with it LOL. I currently own western hognoses and a Mexican black king snake, I hope to add a cribo or false water cobra in the future.
I wonder if it's because they are umderstimulated in there? I only have a couple of hognoses but they are my most active snakes and thet really seem to like exploring their enclosures.
It seems like they're hungry. When the guy picked up the one hognose, it immediately tried to eat him. If it were a defensive bite, it would've flattened itself and hissed but it didn't so that makes me think it was a feeding response. Like one of the other commenters said, it's most likely feeding day or close to it.
Just ordered a snake from Jeff; one payment left! Idk if I saw my baby noodle, but I did catch a glimpse of one with his morph (albino superconda). Boy am I excited to meet him! So cool to see how knowledgeable Jeff is, & all the different morphs I didn't know about. Thanks for the vid!
You are going to love your new snake baby! We bought an extreme red albino anaconda from JMG earlier this year and our baby is super healthy, super friendly, and a great eater!
I know I’ve watched this video a half dozen times over the last year and every time I watch it I get another breeding project idea. I own 3 hogs from Jeff and the 4th will arrive in 3 days. He breeds some beautiful, healthy animals and has answered every one of the many questions I’ve had over the last year. Super nice guy. Definitely recommend JMG if you’re thinking about owning a hognose. I’m pretty sure he’s got more hognose listed on morphmarket than any other breeder. He’s bound to have what you’re looking for. Love the video Dav, keep em coming! I’d love for you to visit Eslin’s operation down in Fla. He also has some absolute gorgeous hognose.
Absolutely amazing!!! Great footage as always Dav!! Thank you Jeff for sharing!! Absolutely amazing Hognose morphs by the way!! Keep up that great and amazing work Jeff and Dav!! Loved the information as well very educational and inspirational!!! Thank you both for everything you both do!!! 👏😍😊❤😉
I love the albino lavender! Hognose have always been in my top 3 favorite snakes of all time. The second snake I ever owned was a hognose, a baby my dad caught for me when I was 4. They're so precious. That sunburst also caught my eye. Gorgeous!!!
I am a boa girl, however, I really want a hognose. I have been wanting a hognose (as a pet) for 25 years. I will be going to a reptile expo this Saturday in Pulayup, WA. I may just buy one as a birthday present for myself. Jeff's collection is amazing! Thank you for showing some of it to us. Awesome breeder.
Jeff has the coolest morphs out there. Best hognose breeder hands down. That sherbert one i was gonna suggest 10k selling price and I'd name it hot cheeto lol.
I've been following him on IG for a while, this video was a treat! Love hognoses. I want to buy a pair of arctic lavenders from Jeff someday, they're gorgeous.
I bought a Super Arctic hognose from Jeff at the Atlanta expo this year. He was so friendly and knowledgeable and our sweet hoggie is absolutely amazing. She eats so well and has made a an excellent addition to our family.
I’m totally stoked! I’m looking for a hog nose! No special genes or anything, just a little cutie to be my baby! A guy is supposed to bring his new hatches to our reptile show. If he doesn’t, I’m getting in contact with Jeff for a normal little snake. I’m only 2 hours away, so won’t need to have it shipped! This is total cool beans!
My favorite Jmg hognose is the lil red conda double het snow he sold me in February :-) but my favorite on this vid has to be just that normal super arctic.....that face with those black eyes was just awesome!
Awesome episode! I remember when Jeff was a kid haha His dad and him have been doing some amazing things with geckos and now hognose!!! Again, great episode!!!
Amazing video and amazing hognose! I have five of them and next year will be my first year breeding them. I know who I'm getting my sixth one from now!
I moved to Michigan a year ago now and have caught 3 hognose! I let them go of course, after I check them out! They are soo AMAZING! There's a big pond in my back yard that has LOTS of frogs for them to eat. The first one I caught I had to look up to find out what it was and ever since then I just adore them! All 3 that I've found were all different looking! Loved seeing all the different kinds in his collection! Each one is beautiful, I can't pick a favorite!! Much love to all!! ~Corinne
Got my first hognose last month and I am absolutely in love with it. It's just a normal, but I love the saddles and the black belly scales. There's not much hognose breeders in my area, but I hope that I can breed them myself one day
The super arctic super conda was amazing and something I've never seen before. I never knew there was such diversity in their different morphs. I need one so bad!! I'm absolutely in love with them and just havent brought one home yet... Going to an expo in 2 weeks though so hopefully I find one
large enclosure will make the snake feel unsafe and stress them out. that is a good enclosure for them. they can stretch their body and still feel secure.
No it isn't and just a lie from breeders, these are wild animals, how do they survive in the wild if they need a tiny box to live in. They could live in a whole room, you just need to put in enough places for them to hide in which this guy clearly has not bothered to do.
Hognoses are my absolute favourite species of snake. I adore their little spoon noses and spunky attitude. At present I only have a normal western but she has a high red presentation and unknown hets, this video is basically my dream room combined with window shopping 😂😂😂
Wow, I didn't know there were so many morphs! The lavenders and arctic anaconda sable are gorgeous! My favourite might just be the sub zero though. Hope you get another hognose for yourself one day soon Dav - which one would you pick? Great video! ☺️🐍
Aww awesome!! That was amazing man..!😰😰 Hav a few hogs of my own, love em. Great and easy snakes to own.👌 Super Arctic!! Doesn't get much better than a StormTrooper..👍 Great content Dav..
I always thought the Toffee Belly Western Hognose would be the snake I stuck with but ever since I spotted the Lavenders on Morphmarket I've wanted nothing else, and now... I really like the look of the Arctic Lavender.
I love Hognoses too. I have 2 and need more lol it's an obsession! I really like the artic with the bright white background and dark grey almost black spots so clean
I follow Jeff on his IG, I'm so glad that you were able to do a video on his collection and also showing him as a person. His IG stories are funny. XD I liked his snows the best but everything he showed in his collection was awesome.
Hi Dav I enjoy your chanell very much. I do not have any snakes. I have never seen a hog nose before. They are so cute, he has such a beautiful collection. My favorite was the super polar super conda. I look forward to your next reptile adventure. 🐍♥️Cindy
Oh I love these Western Hognose snakes!!! Or as we call them in Germany „Westliche Hakennasennattern“.... :). I have two of those... and I would call them my favorites! So adorable and interesting to watch their behaviour. Greetings Dawid
I'm just getting acquainted with the hog nose snake language, so I know this will not be perfect, but I saw a couple at an expo yesterday that I fell in love with. I just checked the names on morphmarket and one is a Lemon Ghost and the other was an Arctic Super Conda...I love their masks on their head!
Jeff is a good friend of mine and in case you didn't know he is also a top class FatTail and Leopard Gecko breeder. There is nothing Jeff doesn't know about genetics. Proud to call him my friend.
I found three of these in the wild in 2021 in Westchester County NY at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation. They were gorgeous. One female and two males. First time ever finding them in the wild. They were not as fancy as these beauties but had a very dark pattern like the Anaconda. I of course left them right where I found them. What a thrill that was
I love the hognose snakes. Unfortunately we dont have it really that available here in the Philuppines :( I would probably get one if I see one available from a reputable breeder here. Hoping ....
I really, really, fell in love with the lemon ghost conda ❤❤❤ Are only the western hognoses morphed? I've been looking for an Eastern hognose for a while. I live in michigan, surrounded by water, and I can't find an eastern hognose if my life depended on it.
Eek!!!! They’re chomping on you lol i love watching snake videos and hope to own one someday... i had a red tail boa growing up and when she was about 9 feet long she bit my cousin and it was a bloody screaming scene... so I’m super curious how it feels and.... idk 😭 I think snakes are so cute I wish I had bigger balls to own one again
The SunBurst is my favorite. Amazing Collection can't wait to get my collection started, unfortunately we don't have much in line with morphs in South Africa
Wow, what a great operation he's running! I ordered my first snake from JMG recently, he won't be shipped off until next month(my request) but it's killing me waiting!
How does one keep the humidity down using that substrate in tubs at the 17 minute mark? I just got a rack system and haven't moved my hogs over because the humidity won't go under 90% with similar substrate.
showed my mom a baby albino hognose and it melted her heart and she actually wanted one!! but shes still scared of other snakes and i just cant change that

So many hognose I see in one room. I only have 4, but a 5th is on the way which is a male Red/Extreme Red Conda Het Albino. Looking to grow my numbers after seeing these other morphs. Sables, Leucistics, Lavender, and Reds/Extreme Reds have gotten my attention.
so what does a anaconda mean when it comes to hognose snakes... i doubt they were bred with actual anaconda's... so is it pattern? are they larger than normal?
I am a simple woman. I see hognose, I click.
Awesome!
Hoggies seem to have a large following with women for some reason.........even those ladies who don't like snakes seem to bend the rules when one of 'Pissy's' relatives are involved. I'm referring to Exotic Lair's famous Hoggie, drama queen extraordinaire
Pierce Hawke It’s their little faces. So derpy and sweet. Too cute not to love. And the dramatic attitudes are the cherry on top.
I am a simple woman too. I see Dāv and my jeans fall down. Did I just say that? LOL
Pierce Hawke I love hognoses and several species of colubrid. Black tailed cribo is one of my other favorites, hognoses are adorable but they are also easy to house with their size. The hog nose is the cutest snake! I’m partial the the lavender....
One of my favorites, too. I also like the toffee conda (which should be called a "coffee" imo 😅)
Omg same
All the hogs in the background going nuts in their tubs 😂😂
Right lol I peeped that too
They seem stressed 😔
LaObeja Negra Could be feeding day. The day before and during feeding day my baby hog does the exact same thing in his tub. :)
I wonder if it's because they are umderstimulated in there? I only have a couple of hognoses but they are my most active snakes and thet really seem to like exploring their enclosures.

You're welcome :)

I would really love to see you go back!! Jeff is such a nice guy and his hognose collection is incredible!

Cool! Those are eastern hognoses in MI and yes, they are very variable
Beautiful 🐍 snakes 👍🏻
Apart from having some beautiful colors and patterns, they have to be one the cutest little snakes in the world with that pushed up snout.
Couldn't agree more!
@@davkaufmansreptileadventures Ahh if only us Aussies could have them, certainly l would have a couple.
Got my first hognose last month and I am absolutely in love with it. It's just a normal, but I love the saddles and the black belly scales. There's not much hognose breeders in my area, but I hope that I can breed them myself one day
Visit a reptile expo in your area and I'm sure you'll find tons of them for sale
Dave soma you morphs I can't keep track so amazing I truly miss the giant golden hognose snakes we had at our letstore
I just got my first hognose, an albino superconda! I love them! Great video, I learned a lot!
This is just legendary!!!
The super arctic super conda was amazing and something I've never seen before. I never knew there was such diversity in their different morphs. I need one so bad!! I'm absolutely in love with them and just havent brought one home yet...

I really liked those super arctics. They are all awesome though. Thanks for sharing this collection.
me too!
That sunburst was pretty sweet!
I am amazed by all the colors and types he has but it makes me sad to see them in such small drawers
large enclosure will make the snake feel unsafe and stress them out. that is a good enclosure for them. they can stretch their body and still feel secure.

Arctic Toffee Conda!!! Wow!!! 😍😍😍. That green is stunning!
Best video on TH-cam I reckon 😂
My favourites were the sunbursts. Keep up the great work Jeff and Dav 🐽
Thanks! I appreciate that!

Thanks, I will. It'll be for sure some arctic stuff!
Hi Jeff, I've actually bought a few hoggies from you in the past!
Great videos
Fav snake to find in the wild. Nice tour Dav, those morphs are sweet looking.
Mine too. I can find them an hour drive from my house yet I've only been to the spot twice this year. I'm slackin' on the herpin'
Dāv Kaufman's Reptile Adventures same here 45 min from our house and we’ve been out there a few times this yr.
This guy got the best flavor of tism ever!

I've been sitting here for ten minutes trying to pronounce Westliche Hakennasennattern. I think I got it. lol
Maybe you can prove it in one of your next videos. ;)
Rattle on, Dāv!
I'm just getting acquainted with the hog nose snake language, so I know this will not be perfect, but I saw a couple at an expo yesterday that I fell in love with. I'll be there!
Wow, what a great operation he's running! I ordered my first snake from JMG recently, he won't be shipped off until next month(my request) but it's killing me waiting!
CORAL!! 😍😲
Great video!
Love this video.😍 Watched it several times since its been out. Wish there was an axanthic in it also.
I love your hognosed snakes. That's going to be my first snake.
Why such small tubs and no enrichment?
How does one keep the humidity down using that substrate in tubs at the 17 minute mark? I just got a rack system and haven't moved my hogs over because the humidity won't go under 90% with similar substrate.
showed my mom a baby albino hognose and it melted her heart and she actually wanted one!! but shes still scared of other snakes and i just cant change that
In my experience you gotta be born without a fear of snakes I’ve never been able to change someone’s mind about it
I have two juvenile hogs, a male normal albino and a female red albino anaconda. The plan is to breed them 2-3 years from now. But as excited as I am to dip my toe into breeding, clearly whatever I produce will pale in comparison to what I just saw here.
That leucistic is definitely favorite and with a paradox spot?! Incredible... Still love you Dav
The leusistic was awe inspiring 😍
So many hognose I see in one room. I only have 4, but a 5th is on the way which is a male Red/Extreme Red Conda Het Albino. Looking to grow my numbers after seeing these other morphs. Sables, Leucistics, Lavender, and Reds/Extreme Reds have gotten my attention.
so what does a anaconda mean when it comes to hognose snakes... i doubt they were bred with actual anaconda's... so is it pattern? are they larger than normal?
Late as fuck but conda is a reduced pattern and supercondas have no pattern except the pattern in the head doesn’t change
