Legendary difficulty is only available on the "for the worthy" and "get fixed boi" seeds. The seeds increases world difficulty by one level, playing on master mode becomes "Legendary" Difficulty
Some advice for people who want to try this fight: The best way to defeat this boss is to kill the mech bosses in this order: Destroyer -> Twins -> Skeletron Prime. NEVER destroy Skeletron first. Of you do, the Twins and the Destroyer will become their normal counterparts, making the fight much harder for you

This follows the latter in regard to the 2. (I have no experience in game design, this is just a personal opinion.)

I was up til 4am killing this bastard yesterday lol. Finally got it. Looks like we settled on nearly the same setup, though I had frost armor instead, and just stuck with daedalus instead of switching to blaster. Spazmatism is 100% the biggest pain in the ass of this fight
fun fact: this is technically mechdusa 2.0, the original mechdusa was actually called twin prime destroyers and it was from the sga mod, it still had the destroyer as a body, but it had 2 skeletron prime heads and the twins were stacked on one another
There has been blizzards in my get fixed boi world lots of times. I think you're looking for it in the wrong place. The world is inverted, so surface layer (weather, blocks, enemies) is the third layer from bottom to up. I mean the layer above the mushrom layer right above the spawn layer.
@@kurone5799In my personal experience, spawning the boss is not enough to counter the huge enemy spawn rate. I used peace candles, sunflowers, calming potion and invisibility potions to be able to fight without worrying about enemies. If you want to decrease the spawn rate even more, bring NPCs there. Despite there being evil biomes, sunflowers can make the place livable for NPCs.
Years ago, I had a nightmare of fighting a giant robot made out of all the mech bosses in Terraria. I didn't think it would become a reality.
