this man has made a hell of a meal without an expensive fancy kitchen, to all that have been rude.,,,,,
Substitutions: FRESH sea scallops; brussel sprout hearts; bite-sized chicken meat (breast is less greasy)
CLEAN THAT STOVE!
Bad video, keeps blurring, very hard to watch, suggest you watch your own video before you post!
Rumaki:
Marinate chicken livers and a can of water chestnuts in teriyaki sauce overnight. Wrap a water chestnut and a liver lobe in a half strip of bacon, and secure with a toothpick. Place in a glass 9 x 13 pan, and cover with brown sugar. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes, then serve as an horderve.
Also good over rice as an entree.
Household cleaning products???
That old nasty stove
Mmm sounds good but I love just deep fried Chicken livers. Just need an inch of oil, dip livers in seasoned flour and fry.
But this is rumaki.
I don't do chicken livers but nice job at doing a cooking video and editing and showing something outside of the norm while doing so!! Thank you for trimming your toe nails ♥ :)
Try them! I've had people ask me what's in them after shoveling a half dozen down 😂
Re: toes, you are watching one who calls himself "barfly"
Fills its roll in the name. Since they are bacon wrapped liver and CHESTNUTS
You should learn to mske teriyaki from scratch . it's really easy and tastes fantastic .
rewatch the video. That's called the broiler..It's under the stove...
I like to make my liver bite sized and I cut the bacon in three pieces.
Anyone else feel that the behind the shoulder camera angle to be a bit mysterious?? 😂😉
Ha ha- great stuff, Brother!! Yumm...👍👍
But seriously, the camera angle... 😂😉❣️
otaY!
luv,
mooz
Can you just put these in the oven at 450 instead? My broiler is just part of the regular oven. Underneath is just a drawer for storage. So, is it 10 minutes one side, and then 10-15 minutes the other side-- totaling 25 minutes for both sides? Thanks for the suggestion about freezing for use later-- I'm preparing in advance for my mom's party. These look really good.
you cook?strange!ahahahaha!that makes the 2 of us!check out drchefpayatas hahaha.hobbit love food!cheers!jerome
Thanks from New Orleans.
you can do what ever you want when you cook..
Awesome! Thankyou for the reply and the extra tips!
mmmmmmmmmdecadent!
Man ! they look delicious. Can I put button mushrooms instead of water chestnuts ?
You'll miss the crunch. But if you try it, consider the water content of the shrooms; use baby bellas (little portabella) or crimini. Let me know how it turned out for you, please?
Looks delicious! What level do you put the oven rack at? Is it the lowest level?
I think you want to do this in the broiler, or top oven rack on 450°
ill be waiting!
Awesome job on making a cooking video and the Rumaki looks delicious. I'll eat a dozen.
Made it for the first time. Done everything on video and they are not good. I never was much of a liver guy but thought I’d give it a try. Feeding it to my dog now. Thanks
