- After two months, my gender-affirming surgery couldn't be going any better. Top surgery looks phenomenal, and bottom surgery works like it was built in! I'm very pleased with my results!

Poor guy
Just can’t help yourself… that impulse to be cruel is so much a part of who you are that it just vomits forth. How silly you seem.
@sineadiloveyou - while I won't chastise you to the extent @serafinjazz does, I do wonder why you'd click on a title and thumbnail that so clearly depict a transgender journey. What fascinates you about me? Is this something you want to understand...or embark on? Is your cruelty only a thinly-veiled cry for help?
I hope you'll Subscribe and learn. There is more to the human experience than social expectations. As a woman, I would think that resonated with you.
I probably agree with your sentiment, but, now that his person has went through with it, why be hateful? >I will certainly abide by her pronouns. We all know no one can make a penis into a vag, so it's just cruel that these folks are abused by the medical establishment.
@bunjijumper5345 - first, thank you for being respectful of my identity. I appreciate you.
Your second point - I was in no way abused by the medical establishment. While I certainly believe the way Western medicine pathologizes typical human experiences undermines our ability to explore who we are, I've made every decision regarding gender-affirming care on my own. I'm a scientist; I do my research, and I make very well-informed decisions.
That's part of why I'm here making videos - to help educate others who might not know how best to make decisions for themselves. 💜
There is NO drug or surgery in the galaxy that can change a human's sex. Do it for YOURSELF, sharing is at your own risk. What did you expect from putting yourself out here?
If you read the 150+ articles I've written, listened to the 100+ podcasts I've recorded, and watched the 200+ videos I've filmed about identity and gender, you'll find I never claim to have changed sex. My educational background is biology, especially genetics. I completed a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry. My video "Sex vs Gender" (linked below) explains the difference between sex and gender. I recommend you check it out.

That said, what makes you think I consider myself immune from criticism? I, at least, have the scientific wherewithal to back up what I say. If you'd like to have a conversation, I'm willing to do that. But I expect you to moderate your tone when you address me. I'm putting myself out there, but I don't submit to being abused.
Please read about biology and intersex. Become informed before you judge.
@lauratyler4863 - so true. Thank you for that comment! 💜
I wish you happiness.
Thank you! So far, things have been amazing. 💜💜💜
I hope everything works out for you. All the same, please make sure you don't neglect prostate health. Many trans women stop getting checks, but it’s important. Wishing you all the best on your personal journey!
Thank you for your blessing and your concern! I promise I won't let anything health-related go! I wish you the best as well. 💜💜💜
Here to spread love!
I'm so glad! I look forward to hearing how my work lands with you - let me know if I stop spreading love. 💜💜💜
We all wonder if we need bigger breasts at one time or another. Go by how they feel, to the touch. Ive found that my body feels nicer to the touch, than in the mirror. But Im 68.
Wow...this was a stupendous way to consider myself. I agree - the feel is far more important than how my brain responds to my sight of myself. It's so much more obvious to use the sense least filtered.
Thank you so much. I learned a very good lesson today. 💜💜💜
@@amethystaherrick That makes me happy. But remember , there are also push up bras.
...oh, I remember! I love wearing the pushup bras I have! In fact, I love wearing them almost as much as I love taking them off at the end of the day... 😹
Everyone around you, failed you. Get help, stay away from schools.
There you sit, at your keyboard, desperate to lash out at anything you can. You reach for the darkest words, trying to cause the most hurt… a predator driven by cruelty. What a waste of time and energy.
Yes, they failed me by assuming social expectations are all there is to fulfill as opposed to accepting the human experience colors outside the lines.
I hope you'll learn someday that life is not black and white. Based on your TH-cam handle, I would have guessed somebody who enjoys both fantasy and superheroes could see beyond the obvious. Maybe you'll Subscribe to my channel and get to learning.
I wish you the best. 💜
Sounds like you need a lot more school.

is there surgery for mental illness ?
I recognize you attempt to insult me, although it fell kind of flat. I'm a grown woman, and I think I know better than you who I am and what makes me comfortable.
I hope you'll Subscribe and learn as opposed to heap vitriol on people who are just trying to live today. If you should be allowed to do it, so should I.
I know you know this is not a mental illness because you would not be so cruel with someone with mental illness. You would not insult someone for being schizophrenic but you will attack trans people because it freaks out your mindset.
@@amethystaherrick actually you are a grown man, not woman.
@Airborne-kl1bw - you need to learn the distinction between sex and gender. Fortunately, I've linked my educational video below for you.

@@amethystaherrick the responses to this hate SLAYYYY!! keep it up!
I am glad things are looking good for you.
Yes, very good! It's a wonderful feeling! 💜
Your so pretty i love your hair! also please dont listen to the mean comments😔
Oh...thank you SO much! I really appreciate you support and your compliments. I can't express just how much it means to me. A blessing upon you, my friend. 💜🏳️⚧️💜
P.S. What mean comments? They seem to go away so suddenly...almost as if I planned it myself! 😹
Glad you are doing well. ☺
Thank you! I'm feeling really good about all that's happened in the last two months. This has been the best ride of my life!! 💜🏳️⚧️💜
@@amethystaherrick I'm so happy to hear that! I'm beginning my transition soon. Not sure when exactly but I got the ball rolling with my healthcare team. ✌🏳⚧
Ooh, I'd love to hear more when you're ready to share, @3_m_1_7 - but no pressure. If you're OK with paying for your care, I can also refer you to a great place for hormone therapy. 💜💜💜
LMAO! I thought things in mirror are bigger than they appear. I’m glad you’re healing well. 💜 👑
I tried so hard to work that joke in, but it always sounded like I was trying too hard. So THANK YOU for being the other half of our comedy duo! 😹💜
@@amethystaherrick 🤣💜
Glad the scarring is clearing up
Oh, heck, yeah! I was concerned at the outset looking at the length of the stitches. So I was rather surprised to look recently and see it's so clear! I haven't looked as frequently as I used to... 😹💜
@@amethystaherrick Kind of like your brokerage accounts, better not to check it everyday ;)
I’m happy for you! And for everyone that wants gender affirming surgery, this is encouraging! Thanks for coming out.
Thank you SO much! I had a lot of questions when I began this whole process, and I've learned much more than I ever expected. On the note of everyone who wants gender-affirming surgery, I have an interesting announcement today.
Thank you again! I highly appreciate your love and support. 💜💜💜
Really great news!
Thank you! I'm so glad to be where I am now!! 💜💜💜
So happy things are going well xx
YES!! Thank you! I'm so happy with where I am now. I appreciate you support on this journey. 💜
It is good to hear that you are doing well and the healing process is going smoothly 😊💜
YES!! I'm so glad with how things worked out. I can't express it any more emphatically. This experience has been life-altering and - by extension - life-saving. 💜
Thank you for the news. I hope there won't be any revision surgery necessary. It's really amazing you can enjoy your body like this. 💜
I'm pretty sure no revisions will be necessary...? I have the sense my experience peeing is the same as any other woman's, but that's why I wanted to find a gynecologist around the three-month mark. I just like to make sure!
That said...I do NOT want to focus on something as minor as that one revision when I feel a sense of freedom and integration I've never felt before. This is truly amazing. I am truly blessed. 💜🏳️⚧️💜
