Thank you! Aldi is the sister store of Trader Joe's. I would love to do all our shopping there but they pretty much only carry their brand so selections are few. Most times I will have a full cart but still have to stop at another store for something they didn't have. But they have the most unique things! They go all out during the holidays. Also the produce is cheaper than Walmart. Thanks for watching!
We have an Aldi's near our house here that opened a couple of months after we moved here. I would think you could kind of compare it to a Trader Joes or a smaller higher end grocery feel. The have great deals on their produce and veggies and a lot of nice hidden treasures! They also have a twice as nice policy. So if you buy something and have to return it they will replace it plus give you your money back!
Yes, the twice as nice policy is great! Their overall price of things is cheaper than Walmart. But Walmart has the online food order. That helps me to stay on track of my total before checking out. 😊
@@OurLifeOnADime We also received our food card! I applied for that and health insurance and we qualified. It will be a huge blessing! We were hoping it would come before Saturday because they actually have some great deals at the store this week.
Have you thought about doing regular coffee with a pot rather than the Keurig? Or getting a Keurig cup that is refillable? I use to have a Keurig and spent a lot more money with it than I do with a regular coffee pot. That would be one way to cut prices.
Yes they have. But still not as bad as other stores. I compaied some prices to Walmart and most were cheaper at Aldi. Plus most aldi items are non-gmo if not organic. Have you every tried Misfits market? I did during the vid and loved it. I am thinking of trying them again.
@@OurLifeOnADime I think I looked into them before and if I am remembering correctly it seemed like you didn't get to pick what was sent to you. But I could be thinking of something else!
@@rachaelsupadventures You can pick what you want. I am thinking of doing it again to keep us stocked up on veggies. Because I generally do once a month shopping with some small stops in between. Produce is what we need before I go back and do another big order. We used to do a weekly co-op but they changed the day during the week to pick up that doesn't work for us so we had to stop using them. They had a box of veggies for $25.00 it was a great deal! They used to have pick up on Saturday. Then they changed the location to the next town over and changed it to during the week and only a 1 hr window to pick it up. 🙄
@@OurLifeOnADime Omg my new years resolution was to go through our freezers and get rid of things that have seen better days lol. So I had one left to do and I was shocked at what I found! A bunch of lost and forgott6en about good stuff! Bacon, a pork roast, Corn Beef roast, at least 10 pounds of butter. Lots of cream cheese and blocks and shredded cheese. A bunch of frozen veggies and hashbrown patties! What a blessing!
You did great!
Thank you friend!
I wish there was an Aldi near me ☹️ thanks for sharing! 🥰
They are popping up all over the place so maybe you will soon get one! Thanks so much for watching! 😎
Looks like a lot of good stuff. Thanks for sharing. Dinner looked good. We don’t have a aldis, so it’s interesting to see the variety.

@@OurLifeOnADime Lisa I think you can also place orders with Aldi if you create a profile.
@@rachaelsupadventures My store does online orders but it is through instacart. They charge you more for using the service. 😏
Good morning lovely Lisa 🌻
Good morning Rachael! Hope you have a great day.

I have a regular coffee pot and coffee grinds and do use it from time to time. But we prefer the pods.
I feel like the prices went up again over the New Year. What do you think?
