I actually rewatched Trolls recently and to me, it’s funnier that I remember. But yeah, it can be pretty dark at times.

I like how into this movie you are because I know a lot of people who aren't. The soundtrack is such a bop though! It's very catchy and fun to listen to! I love Get Back Up Again, They Don't Know, and their version of True Colors.

In the post credit scene the troll that sold them out and the chef get eaten, which would probably have made you enjoy the movie even more, lol.

I really enjoyed trolls that I would play the movie in the background when I had assignments. The songs went hard.

Dreamworks also made a series involving trolls, but they're different than this movie and it's sequel. The series is called Trollhunters: Tales of Arcadia. And let me tell you... it's even darker than this. They even made two spin-offs, 3-Below and Wizards, that are connected to the timeline along with a movie. All of them are good.
