Haven't tried dinner here. Tried breakfast one time and we weren't impressed with our experience. We said we needed to try dinner. Definitely have to at least try to make it sometime!
I've heard such mixed reviews on Five Oaks. Everyone we personally know who's eaten there said they wouldn't go back and most TH-cam reviews have been good. We decided to chance it last August and our experience was great. I forget what Tara had but i had dumplings and the were the best I've ever had. I wonder if they just have issues with consistency. Good review guys.
I have to agree with your score. My wife and I ate supper there and it was just ok. The service was great and the best part of the meal . My wife got the open face pot roast which had a good flavor, but the roast itself was tough as shoe leather. the gravy and potatoes was just ok and what can you say about toast. I had the catfish which was soggy and all the breading fell off. Just ok. I hope to give them another try and see it there is improvement or is this just the norm.
We had a similar experience there, breakfast and lunch were great, but dinner aka supper there is 👎. We’ve had the meatloaf and we didn’t like the flavor, the potato soup should be cream based & it’s watery and the smoked chicken they had at that time was skin & bones. Breakfast & lunch there is out of this world, yet supper there is 👎. It is crazy that Cumberland Jacks is so amazing for dinner and they are owned by the same parent company and have such a difference in dinner quality.

It's worth trying at least once, but we will stick to breakfast here for sure.

If you've never tried breakfast there, we would suggest that rather than supper. Jeremy loves the red eye benedict there.
Haven't tried Five Oaks Farm Kitchen but would definitely eat there for breakfast rather than supper. We call it supper also!
We definitely recommend breakfast over supper.

We agree. We would 100% go back to Cumberland Jacks anytime over Five Oaks.
