Thanks! There's not actually a crazy amount to mitigate on this fight outside of like a few combos here and there where there's a bunch of back-to-back hits (Shadowed Messengers, Letter of the Law). Or Jury Overruling where there's a double-tap of mechanics. We didn't really have to coordinate much cause things just kind of naturally lined up and the DPS check isn't too extreme. I generally used deploys on big combos of mechanics and Seraph on Styx/Eunomia. AST generally used Macrocosmos on Styx and Neutral on other mechanics. Star is useful for healing up between his hits on any of the combos.
I'm new to scholar and I noticed that you use some macros, I would really like some guidance on how to use them because I have some difficulty using skills like sacred soil in some mechanics with a lot of movement :(
I tend to be a pretty macro-light player. I only really use them when I feel I get a lot out of them. So when I'm healing, my macros are largely just for ground-targeted abilities like Sacred Soil / Asylum / Earthly Star / Liturgy of the Bell. Since like you mentioned, it's kind of awkward to manually target those when you're busy doing things. I find that in almost every situation in every fight in this game, I want to do one of three things when I use Sacred Soil: - Manually place it at a very particular location. - Place it around myself. - Place it around the boss. Manually placing it doesn't need a macro at all, but you can use a macro if you don't like the ground-targeting. This will attempt to cast it wherever your mouse cursor currently is when you press the button: /ac "Sacred Soil" gtoff For targeting yourself, you can use: /ac "Sacred Soil" For targeting the boss, you can use this to make it cast at your target: /ac "Sacred Soil"
Congrats on the clear. May I ask how good/bad was the healing and mitigation with the sch/ast comp?
