Congradulations on all the great cards you got back. Sadly I only have one grade card, celebrations professor oak. Pulled it out pig those mystery boxes. It's graded cgc grading 10, but the case has two big scratches across the face, and since cgc cases are so loose fitting for cards the back of the card has a floating white spot on the top from bouncing into the card stop.
I've heard that about those cases!! they need to tighten that up ASAP!

I have a Latias & Latios GX Alt that I was thrilled to death to pull in a Family Dollar $1 pack! When prices drop a little with PSA I want to have it graded. I can tell though that it is not a PSA 10 and possibly not even a 9. Is it worth being sent off if it grades an 8?? I doubt I ever sell it just because its an epic card, but I don't want to hurt value either.

Maybe not the right area for discussion still, is PSA the only company the community accepts for like good grading or does CGC also work? I mean if I graded a card from CGC will it be less money when I sold than it is if the same card is PSA graded?
CGC is definitely catching up in PSA's absence. I would now say CGC is a viable option.

@@PokeVault8 Good to go. I have a bunch of MTG cards that I'm holding on to and some Ive rarely have played with and have also stopped playing with due to how much they've gone up in price. So I'm on the fence about fully retiring them and sealing them away. Possibly getting them graded as well.

I won't use PSA anymore.. Way too high priced, way too inconsistent with grades, and the parent company sold them off a month ago.. I look at PSA as how AOL Online was back in the day.. They were THE name and had no legitimate competitors.. Now they're gone.. Hotmail was the same.. I think PSA is facing steep competition today from other grading companies that are more consistent, far lower priced, use AI to laser scan for better accuracy, and turnaround times that are like lightspeed compared to PSA..
