You can keep calling for Talents to be banned all you want. It's one of the least problematic card in the game right now.
With all the handtrap in this format, talent is a must.
It's a very frustrating card because at times it's very good but once you draw it and you're opponent has nothing, it becomes useless. I'm not sure why people want it banned. It's a must have especially with the format we are at.
@bomberhood7234 the only time its broken is if you open combo and your starter gets stopped then you have Talent to look at your opponent's hand to rip a card out having hand knowledge (minus what they draw for their turn) and setup your board with the extender basically ensuring you can stop any cards they play with the exception of what is drawn for turn.
@@tausifulislam987To be fair though, knowing what is coming doesn’t ensure that you have the resources to stop it. But your point still stands. Hand knowledge is insane in this game.
I adore talents and there isn't a single deck I play where it isn't practically an auto include in main. Given that, you're nuts if you think it isn't supremely broken. Having PoG, Forceful and non-targeting CoH on the same card is simply insane
Apollousa is fine just leave it at 3. I get the card is good but we can’t ban every single decent generic extra deck monster just because komoney doesn’t want to hit 1 deck in the format directly.
Generic negates are the problem. Having Generic monster is not always a bad thing as long as they’re not OP.
Generic ED monster with multiple negates is never a good thing, especially now where new archetypes do not have an ED lock. Apo will come back with an Errata just like other overpowered ED cards that got banned.
Why are ppl asking for hits against runick??. Runick is fine the problem is the floodgates that the stun version plays. If floodgates don’t exist , stun does not exist. Combo variants are not being played and are not achieving anything so obviously the problem is the stun portion of the deck. Get it together
stun decks not featuring runick cards aren't doing shit either. 🤷♂

It'll be at the end of July (28th imo) after Infinite Forbidden's release. Apollousa being at the top of the list for bans. Possibly Dragoon after making it so accessible like they did Borreload Savage and Baronné.
People treat the melodious engone like its feinds mith, it needs half your extra and 8-9 engine slots its so inneficient. This is coming from someone who tested the melodious chinera deck.
If they insta ban Apo right after Rarity 2 or Ostinato I'll just never buy product again
It's your fault for buying apo so late, it wasn't even that expensive.
Also EVERYBODY was talking about apo being banned after Baronne and savage did.
this is the reason they won't ban Apo or IP right now, but 2 or more lists later we'll see.

Appo ban feels inevitable and super telegraphed, ostinato is a weird thing for them to ban given its excelling because we are in a handtrap format.

Idea for a sneaky unlimit: Lightning Storm. It barely sees play as is. Not sure why it was ever semi-ed
As far as what I'd like to see banned, Promethean. Card is unbelievably overtuned. Completely generic, extender, disruption. Its a menace and honestly in a game where Summon Sorc is errataed and Elf is banned, to have this thing running around is silly
agree on Promethean, disagree on Lightning Storm. I think the current ratio of 1x HFD and 2x Lightning Storm is just fine. (im a bit biased as a Lab player ofc)
S:p limited just seems stupid. I play it at one currently and cant ever see myself wanting to play more than one unless it goes down to $20 or less
S:P Limit would atleast drop the Price a tiny bit, but it would be such a nothingburger hit while there are way more important cards to hit running rampage rn

I came to the conclusion that putting all popular floodgates to 1 is a good idea. I would even say anything else feels arbitrary which is bad.
skill drain at 3, rivalry at 1, summon limit at 0... it just feels inconsistent. I rather have them all at 1. and searchable in-archetype floodgates usually are only played as 1-ofs anyway.

I thought d barrier will be banned or limited, the facts it’s going to be one of those cards that will come in and out of the meta, the moment link came out, it became useless for a while
Eva and kit can come back. Theres more answers to eva and kit wont do much but add more consistency if its limited to 1

7:47 theres a bunch of other cards that more or less do the same thing as the gimmick puppet, banning it would be a complete non hit
I wouldn't be surprised if Oak gets banned. I would love to see shifter banned but I don't think it'll happen.
with Megatin 2024 coming in September, and Ash just reprinted as an Ulti, Oak banned is actually the most likely SE hit, in addition to Pop to 1 and Flamberge to 1. Everything else, while they CAN happen, are less likely
-Banning Flam kills the entire deck. Yeah, I'm sure most people wouldn't shed a tear, but they didn't kill a deck that hard for a long time.
-Banning OSS will dissociate Diabellstar completely from SE. What are you going set with Diabellstar then, the QP spell or trap?
I also don't think Shifter will get banned, but maybe we'll see it at a number that's not 3.
@@Avermra my prediction is oak banned and pop or flam to 1, probably not both. the deck is still playable with those both at 1 but much weaker especially if oak is banned as well. me personally I would rather just see oak and original sinful spoils banned. I don't see them touching ash now that the ult rares are on the market. if they were gonna hit ash it would of been before that most likely
Doubt any of the melodious cards will get hit (at least right now). Deck is tier 2 at best and konami will 1000% want to cash in on reprints for the deck.

Wild how many people are upset about cards to counter the current toxic meta. How about instead of enabling a garbage meta by banning cards that combat it, we fix the meta? And if we do that a lot of these cards won’t even have a place in real game play anymore.

For example, 80% of ppl wanna ban apollousa. 19% wanna semi-limit apo. 1% wanna save apo. 99% are konami-bots.

IMO, in order to hit Apollousa, Bow of the Goddess, you need to hit/limit Nibiru, Ash Blossom and Ghost Belle first. Nibiru would need to be banned, Ash Blossom would need to be limited and Ghost Belle can be semi-Limited (Yeah Semi Limited, come at me Cimoooooooo)
or errata those three cards to be less useful, I wouldn't mind Bow of the Goddess going on the banned list but she requires those other cards to be dealt with first.
And yugi will be completely dead

It was banned because of Thunder Dragons but we've seen that they are nowhere as much of a problem as before.
As for it's use as a generic engine Melodious is doing the same thing 10 times better so I see no reason for Brilliant to be on the list.
It would a great buff to Gem-Knights as the new card (Quartz) can tutor it and it can itself be searched in a number of ways.

I don’t think shifter needs to be banned. Maybe hitting it to 2 to lower the the chances of drawing it but it’s needed
for some people this card falls under the "0 or 3 principal". In practice though I'm sure most players (as in, other than the diehard Floo or Kash players) would be happy to take this card at any count lower than 3. Sure, some other decks can play it, but that is also detrimental to their strategy enough to warrant the card actually being a trade off.
