It's a very frustrating card because at times it's very good but once you draw it and you're opponent has nothing, it becomes useless. I'm not sure why people want it banned. It's a must have especially with the format we are at.
@bomberhood7234 the only time its broken is if you open combo and your starter gets stopped then you have Talent to look at your opponent's hand to rip a card out having hand knowledge (minus what they draw for their turn) and setup your board with the extender basically ensuring you can stop any cards they play with the exception of what is drawn for turn.

Generic ED monster with multiple negates is never a good thing, especially now where new archetypes do not have an ED lock. Apo will come back with an Errata just like other overpowered ED cards that got banned.
Why are ppl asking for hits against runick??. Runick is fine the problem is the floodgates that the stun version plays. If floodgates don’t exist , stun does not exist. Combo variants are not being played and are not achieving anything so obviously the problem is the stun portion of the deck. Get it together

People treat the melodious engone like its feinds mith, it needs half your extra and 8-9 engine slots its so inneficient. This is coming from someone who tested the melodious chinera deck.

Idea for a sneaky unlimit: Lightning Storm. It barely sees play as is. Not sure why it was ever semi-ed As far as what I'd like to see banned, Promethean. Card is unbelievably overtuned. Completely generic, extender, disruption. Its a menace and honestly in a game where Summon Sorc is errataed and Elf is banned, to have this thing running around is silly

I came to the conclusion that putting all popular floodgates to 1 is a good idea. I would even say anything else feels arbitrary which is bad. skill drain at 3, rivalry at 1, summon limit at 0... it just feels inconsistent. I rather have them all at 1. and searchable in-archetype floodgates usually are only played as 1-ofs anyway.
with Megatin 2024 coming in September, and Ash just reprinted as an Ulti, Oak banned is actually the most likely SE hit, in addition to Pop to 1 and Flamberge to 1. Everything else, while they CAN happen, are less likely -Banning Flam kills the entire deck. Yeah, I'm sure most people wouldn't shed a tear, but they didn't kill a deck that hard for a long time. -Banning OSS will dissociate Diabellstar completely from SE. What are you going set with Diabellstar then, the QP spell or trap? I also don't think Shifter will get banned, but maybe we'll see it at a number that's not 3.

IMO, in order to hit Apollousa, Bow of the Goddess, you need to hit/limit Nibiru, Ash Blossom and Ghost Belle first. Nibiru would need to be banned, Ash Blossom would need to be limited and Ghost Belle can be semi-Limited (Yeah Semi Limited, come at me Cimoooooooo) or errata those three cards to be less useful, I wouldn't mind Bow of the Goddess going on the banned list but she requires those other cards to be dealt with first.
for some people this card falls under the "0 or 3 principal". In practice though I'm sure most players (as in, other than the diehard Floo or Kash players) would be happy to take this card at any count lower than 3. Sure, some other decks can play it, but that is also detrimental to their strategy enough to warrant the card actually being a trade off.
Doubt any of the melodious cards will get hit (at least right now). Deck is tier 2 at best and konami will 1000% want to cash in on reprints for the deck.
Wild how many people are upset about cards to counter the current toxic meta. How about instead of enabling a garbage meta by banning cards that combat it, we fix the meta? And if we do that a lot of these cards won’t even have a place in real game play anymore.

What about Brilliant Fusion ? It was banned because of Thunder Dragons but we've seen that they are nowhere as much of a problem as before. As for it's use as a generic engine Melodious is doing the same thing 10 times better so I see no reason for Brilliant to be on the list. It would a great buff to Gem-Knights as the new card (Quartz) can tutor it and it can itself be searched in a number of ways.

Generic negates are the problem. Having Generic monster is not always a bad thing as long as they’re not OP.
