Working as an accountant I learned a few tricks with excel, I use data validation which creates a dropdown list so I can quickly autofill answers in a cell (only works if it isn't a custom result eg. size m, l ,xl etc. Also you can set it to reduce errors by only allowing certain text or numbers in a field.
Massive props on the free reviews mate that's super generous! Totally agree with owning your mistake to the buyer. A lot of the time a well handled apology is all they want
Thanks, that really depends on the buyer. On average I receive feedback for around 20-25% of my sales transactions. Some will leave it instantly, others take weeks, most never leave feedback.
Cheers Owen, I think you could (with some modification) use it to track items. E.G assign each QR code to a link to where you are drop shipping the item from.
QR codes is definitely taking it to a new level. Can't wait for more details. Glad to her eBay was good to you when you didn't list much. Great content!
I really love the offer of store reviews. I’m in the U.S. and sell new girls clothing. I’m not sure it would benefit me as much as it would benefit other sellers in your country, Australia. I have issues with sorting items and it was nice to see that you have thousands of items sorted. I have thousands of items and most days I’m overwhelmed by all of the clothing. You have encouraged me to just focus on sorting and know that it’s okay not to list for a day or two. I am extremely interested in learning how you create the QR codes and look forward to that video. Great content as always, thanks Samson.
Thanks Deborah. I think it is perfectly fine to set aside a day of two to get stuff sorted (either physical inventory or accounting). I plan to do this regularly & hopefully have listings ready to launch in the future so I don't break my listing habit when doing so.
Been Picking/investing for the past couple years. I feel ready to start regularly selling, and growing my store. You're giving some really good advice, thanks for doing this in such an approachable way.
Hey Samson, I have been watching your content for a while now. Great job and your videos and growing a business. I am also a large volume eBay seller with about 4500 active listings. I see that in this video you stated that you currently list about 40 to 50 items per day. This is amazing. We currently list about 30 per day. Our biggest problem has been keeping up with storage. We currently use an off-site storage facility that is 250 Sq. Ft. with bins, similar to yours. With our current listing habit, we seem to always be running out of storage space. How do you store all of your listed items? With your current listing habit do you feel this will be a problem for you in the near future?
Good question, honestly I am currently working through this. Maybe I need to lower prices so my sell through rate is high enough that space is not an issue until I decide to move to an external location, maybe I need to sell on multiple platforms. Maybe I need to maintain a constant goal of growing to larger & larger spaces for storage. As you can tell I am currently thinking this through and exploring available options regarding this. I will update in a video if I figure it out. For at least the next few months, space wont be a serious issue, but I will eventually have to figure out a plan.
Do you know if there is an app or a way where I can scan in product barcodes, enter date purchased, price paid then when it sells I just scan in the product again and enter the sold price, shipping price, fees etc… because I’m really struggling with my book keeping
I think it would be wise to start with a simple spreadsheet if you have not already. The QR codes do contain that info (or any info you would like to load them with). But they are really secondary to my inventory management spreadsheet in terms of how I track COGS, receipt number etc.
Also I would recommend speaking to an accountant regarding bookkeeping, I know its almost cliché to say but it was the best thing I ever did in terms of getting my books in order.
Store review submissions are now closed. If you missed out, do not worry as I will do more soon. Thanks!
Man, missed it, but looking forward to the next one. I just happened to be out of town. Great content, as always.
Looking forward

Awesome man, the store reviews will really help a heap of people 🙏
Cheers Brad, hopefully it will 👍
Amazing content, as usual. Thanks Samson!
Much appreciated!

Cheers mate, I agree - buyers need to feel like you understand/care about their issues. Once they decide that you do then a neg is unlikely.
@@SamsonTV Exactly man
Great idea for all newbies & helping them with there eBay stores. Good man 👍🏻 hope it helps people 🙌
Cheers mate, that is the plan 👍
Thank you for all of your time. This insight is greatly appreciated.
My pleasure!
Love this video
I like your channel. Good job. It’s a niche and you do it very well.
Thank you so much 😊
Hello Sam, great video.
I have a question.
How long after I buy a product does it take sellers to give me feedback?
Thanks, that really depends on the buyer. On average I receive feedback for around 20-25% of my sales transactions. Some will leave it instantly, others take weeks, most never leave feedback.
Love it mate! Love seeing the systems and how much work you’ve initially put in to make everything easier down the track. Keep up the good content 👍
Cheers mate, that is the plan 👍
Hello mate ! I have a question about should we sell items in many categories or one single category. Which way is the best ?
Would love a good video on how to use the file exchange I have tried and failed so many times using it
Coming soon!
Hi Samson. Thank you for the info as always.
Your Ebay File Exchange excel sheet, can someone who is dropshipping use this to help manage listings?
Cheers Owen, I think you could (with some modification) use it to track items. E.G assign each QR code to a link to where you are drop shipping the item from.
@@SamsonTV thank you

Thanks! Its definitely a process, but I think it will save me time in the long run.

Your speech impediment remind me of Barry Kripke from The Big Bang Theory. Or should I say “Bawwy Kwipke” 😆

You'll never believe this, but I actually voiced the role for a few eps when the actor who plays Kripke had laryngitis back in 2008.
