How am I just watching this? I Share sentiments with Rossette. Had 2 pre showers and unfortunately lost the baby. I now would prefer post.

With my 1st baby,I had a baby shower, some1 spoilt the surprise but it still went on.
With my 2nd child,I didn't feel the need for another shower. To me it felt like announcing to the world how busy you are in the sheets🤦 so I gladly declined the offer

I prefer post... Always.... Reason being hmmmmm do you guys realise that it always gets hard to find time to visit a new mama especially when they leave the hospital? Do you realise that you can even take a year and plus before seeing your friends baby's physically hehe...
Also playing safe... surely at 8months pregnant hmmmm ahaaa one's prayers are too particular. Surely there's no fun to enjoy at that time.
Also, I hope am not the only one who has never attended any person's pre-baby shower. I don't attend them and my response is always clear, I want to visit the new mother with their babies and I don't visit immediately, no. I give the mama time to heal. At least after a month or two.
With my girlfriends, with do a post shower and its always always fun.

I guess we shld just change the name for these events. Honestly the deco, dress code and all.. Its just an exaggeration.
