  • This is a cool little woodturning project with a few interesting touches. This video will be part of a video series I am launching. The videos will be longer and more detailed.     Very nice :) I will adopt your idea with the cable ties to sand the inside of the rings. In the past I have used a Dremel. which is very slow and not efficient. Thanks for a great video and another tip I can use.

    Looks amazing , well done mate.👍🏽
    It really does take a lot of oil to penetrate deep enough into the wood.
    Might save yourself some money on the mineral oil if you just poured
    the whole bottle into a long container that has a good sealing lid, and
    just dipped your projects in when done. Looking at all the oil absorbed
    in the paper towel getting tossed in the bin seems like such a waste!

    That's a super little toy, I want one myself! I was a bit surprised that you turned the rings so close together; I thought it might have been easier if they'd been further apart. Incidentally, is the hook-shaped tool home-made? Allen key? Cheers mate.
