This doesn’t actually look as expensive as I thought, especially since I could make like 80% of this. This gives me more hope on fixing and upgrading my hamster’s care
I literally almost cried 3 times during this! Pancake? Is so cute!! I’m so happy someone actually gives a hamster a proper home!! (Ofc I’m subscribed already!)
Best video I watched so far 🎉 Music is calm, good explanation what you use - camera view is perfect and the little pancake is just adorable❤ Setup is really really nice!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
You usually don't clean the whole cage. You only replace some dirty parts because changing the cage is really stressfull for hamsters. Also, they are really clean animals and they have their dirty corners so you only have to cleam some areas and make sure to put some fresh soil in there or things they can play with like nuts or other interesting items
Hello! I love you natural cage setups. Where did you get the bedding from and is it safe for dwarf hamster.I also live in Sweden if that makes sense.I always struggling finding good bedding!
Hey there, love this cage setup can I just going to point of the bark you are using in your multi chamber hideout isn’t safe this is because my Syrian ate it and we had to take him to the vets. I can recommend chubby cheeks coco husks which is like a faster version for hamsters!

@@pancakespets I just came to ask the same question. This really sounds pretty easy, and it looks so much better than all those sterile cages with this artificial food. Thanks!
i love this! but don't you think they need some extra floor space to walk? i see a lot of hamster owners filling every inch of the cage but i always wonder if the hamsters get frustrated with having to climb over everything??

Calcium and colour free reptile sand is best. If you can't find any of this, then disinfected, colour-free plain children's play sand also works. You will need to disinfect it by baking it at 400°F for 60-90 minutes. You will need to sift it using a sieve to remove any lumps. I hope this helps! 🐹❤️
@@pancakespets Thank you so much! Currently have a converted extra large fish tank but it's a bit more shallow than I'd like so I'm planning to get another one, maybe for a Chinese hamster?
You need about 12kg of bedding to fill it! I never need to fully clean it, as I only ever need to change the soiled bedding. I use aubiose hemp horse shavings, which you can get 20kg of it for £20, so it's not that expensive 🐹❤️
Hello, I need a little help. Is neem sticks good for Chinese dwarf hamsters? My hami is trying to chew all the belongings. I have very little option for hamsters in my locality as well as on Amazon.
I would recommend looking online on websites like Etsy for hamster chew toys. Hamsters can gnaw on things other than sticks too, such as walnuts in shells, peanuts in shells, dried dandelion roots and whimzee dog chews (they can only have this once a month). Plain cardboard and dog biscuits (that have the least ingredients and are the most organic) can also be chewed! If possible, including multiple of these items would be a good idea! 🐹💕
