The Bissell Crosswave is one of the best cleaning machines it’s my favorite wet and dry vacuum and I do love the pet pro one because it has a strainer that keeps the solid stuff out of the dirty water
I wonder if repeating the process with a second pass and comparing the water to the first would tell us what percentage of the dirt was picked up on the first pass?
Since watching this and two other review videos I'm definitely buying one of these machines. By the way, my OCD went nuts when I saw the way the cable was wrapped, 😂

I do like the crosswave, but I have arthritic hands and I can’t get the roller cover device off the machine without a lot of difficulty. Any suggestions?
Hi Judy, I’ve had a think about this and I’ve looked online and seen some aids for this, it looked like a plastic hook with rubber finger on the end for pulling stuff and I picked out a wooden spoon from my draw and used the handle end to pull the cover off, I hope this helps, but I will have to look further into it. Hello. Your video is 4 year old. Does the Crosswave still work? Do you still use it? Are you happy with it despite its small flaws (noise, can't wash 1 inch along the walls...) ? Did it have any breackdown? Did you have to change some parts aside from the brush and filters? How often do you need to change filter and brush? Do you use another washing product than the official Bissel detergent?
Is it good with long hair? My daughter & I have very long hair & it keep falling all over the floor. Does the hair get tangled with the brush? Is bissell crosswave better or the other vacuum & steam one is better for the long hair. I need to buy one & I’m a little bit confused which one to buy !!
Hi Nuna, unfortunately the hair will get wrapped around any brushroll in theory, but the cross wave would be better as it uses clean water to constantly wash the floor, I’m not a fan of steam cleaners unless you change the floor mop heads constantly as your just pushing the muck picked up on the cloths to just smear it all over the entire floor, they do t come across as being super hygienic to me, plus you have to wash the cloths separate as I’d not want to wash them with my laundry and so having to wash them on a separate cycle, waste of energy etc
I've just got one of these. Love the performance but not keen on the £230 price tag. Have been using a tiny bit of Dettol floor cleaner in it instead of the Bissell stuff. Amazing how much dirt it picks up from seemingly clean floors. Also the user manual for mine says to keep the solution trigger pressed on forward and backward strokes
Oh wow! I’m glad you like it, it is a bit pricey to say the least, but it does do a really good job. Detail is just fine, I also use Zaflora in mine too, just the same. If I have a heavy spiked floor with something stuck or dirty then yes, I keep the trigger pulled, but in general I just use trigger for forward and off for pull back.
I keep looking at these. I've got a vax floormate. I've had floormates for years and absolutely love them. The floormate works incredibly well so im always a bit apprehensive about other machines
+Dave Debang-bang The thing I like about this is I can clean the rugs as well as the flooring. It works very well on both. I’ve done a big mess test with it, take a look. The scrubbers on the floor mate is really good though.
I've had 4 VAX floor mates in 2 years. Each time they just pack up without warning despite getting very light use. VAX replace them without argument which is why I've still got one, but now this one's packed up as well so I'm calling it quits and looking for something more reliable!
Hi Robert 👋. I’ve seen the reviews on it and yes it’s so good on level, even hard floors. Unfortunately it doesn’t fair so well on natural or floorboards, like my VAX/Hoover Floormate, it’s still not as good as the Crosswave for more floor types and also rugs, which it does a good god on to be fair. I would still definitely love to have a Hizero though.
Kristof Lenaers Thank you for asking, because my flooring is dark laminate it does sometimes leave streaks. If I use the bissell products I do get less streaks, but that stuff is expensive! so with ordinary floor detergents I sometimes do. I have to experiment each time🤣. I’ve learnt to use a tiny amount of detergent if not using the bissell stuff.
Rio Winaryo hi Rio, yes, absolutely, but a tiny amount and I mean tiny 🤣, or it will over foam a lot. You may think that’s not enough, but I promise It will work perfect.
I bought mine at Lowes and used it (first time) on a room's carpet that hasn't been shampooed except for spots in 20 years. It did a terrifically good job and then I started on the tile floors. The problem with doing the tiled floors was I FORGOT TO TIGHTEN THE CAP ON THE CLEANING SOLUTION THUS ALL THE CLEANER/WATER DRAINED OUT. Great machine, highly recommended by me.
Hi Lorena, you can use most non over foaming cleaning products. You can use just water, but won’t be as effective in my opinion, you can be natural and make your own or a Mainstream product, just small amounts.
Panos F Oh gosh, take a look up into the motor? Some a light up and if it’s wet, leave it for a few days to dry out, you should be fine it it’s just the once and you’ve noticed. If it’s all dry in there, just pop the filter in and carry on.

As long as the filter goes in, whatever is there should be ok without prolonged use, don’t know how it copes as a straight vacuum though, I’d not really recommend it

Now unfortunately this was the first one I bought and it had an issue with the motor, that pitch was awful I agree, they send out a brand new machine for me and you can see in subsequent videos what it should should like, but! Even then it’s still loud lol.
You're a demo is not bad but I do not appreciate it's that you empty your dirt in a sink !! (That's how we mouth the pipes) thrown your dirt in the toilet tank!
phamania1 Yes, but unfortunately that was the one with issues, after I contacted Bissell they sent me another new replacement, and even that is loud, but definitely not as bad as this 😂😂😂

Emily C both, when I press the trigger the solution sprays and then release trigger to suck up, but I always pre vacuum the rugs first.
