I just had my 70th birthday so I think that qualifies as old. But as I said, not dead! I don't know why they decided to go shirtless but now my favorite is even more my favorite!
Interesting paradigm shift for me here. I've been doing death metal guttural vocals (and guitar) for 35 years, but only very recently realized I should branch out to learning throat singing, and I'm finding that throat singing involves the exact same physiological process as death metal guttural vocals (with some very minor technique changes). I've got a head start! :) I'm really enjoying the bands I'm discovering in the last few days. As well as the plethora of traditional Mongolian throat singing music out there. But when it comes to a hybrid between traditional and modern, UUHAI is some good stuff
