That's great!! It's a huge pleasure taking delivery of your Interceptor!! I'm sure you will enjoy the bike even if you don't like 100% the mirrors, it's an easy mod if you decide to change them !! Thanks for your comment. Happy trails!!
Great video! Now with the stock bars taken off your bike, can you see a way of removing the end bar inserts? On the GT Continental there is holes along the bar under the grips where they clip in. You have to press the clip in to help removal. Are they the same on your interceptor bars? There no other video’s I can find where someone has done this, so I hope you don’t mind me asking.
Hi Warriorkikass, thanks, it's not the same on the Interceptor. The only holes on the bar ends are for securing the plastic switch casings. I haven't tried to take the inserts out but they look as if they 're shoved into place or maybe glued(?). I will let you know if I find out how to remove them! Thanks again for watching!
K's Moto Shed hi, many thanks for your reply! If you manage to find a way to remove them it might be worth a video to go with. There’ll be plenty of people who’ll be interested, so they can fit end bar indicators.
Hi. Very nice video. A question, please can you tell me how did you take out the insert that its inside the handlebar, and does it have any efect on the handling off the bike? Regards
Sure! Here's the link : www.motone.co.uk/motorcycle-parts-c26/triumph-bonneville-c25/classic-cafe-racer-custom-knee-pads-black-pinstripe-p1608 Thanks for watching!
Hello sir,, respects from India. I have query regarding renthal handle bar.. Do u feel any difference from stocks..while taking quick turns, sudden brakes, loosening in mid of ride etc., ? Thanks in advance
Hello, so far I have no complaints, but to be honest I don't feel a big difference in handling. The renthals are a bit narrower and a bit more swept back but not that much to be noticeable in slow or high speed. Certainly there is no loosening tendency if you tighten the bolts according to the specified torque settings. I would say that apart from the weight saving, which is negligible, (if you want significant weight savings you should start with replacing the exhausts) , the main difference is the looks and that's the reason I did it in the first place. I hope that covers it! Thank you for watching!
My Intercepter is on order and I have asked the dealer to install bar ends.
Hope they look as good as yours mate. Happy trails !

Hi, thank you! I didn't take them out. These are after market handlebars. I think it's kinda hard to remove the inserts from the stock bars.
I like the tank pads, could you share the link to buy them ?
