I really appreciated that Malaysia can held such a competition like this. The circuit was safety for riders and for viewers. In Indonesia for the fences we only use like 1 meter fences and it was easily to detached. Lol. Because of it many times indonesian road race viewers died.
Easy to laugh, but those little bikes are probably difficult to ride in race spec, a bit like little/light racing cars such as e.g. a Renault Clio Cup. Sort of touch the brakes, and you are off.

What I find cool about this is that the speeds are so slow that you know that in a crash, nobody will actually get hurt. I wish they had family oriented teams so ppl could race on the weekends. It must be cheap as hell to mantain one of those and fathers and sons would have an excuse to make their wifes/mothers crazy.

What I mean was that compared to those outrageous speed that ppl from Isle of Man reach, this is much more practical for non-proffesionals. But them again, every sport you practice has a risk. In reality, they are among the most difficult racing cars to drive, as they are light & high power, meaning controlling them is not easy. Brakes e.g. are more efficient than the low vehicle weight really require, why you will lock a wheel as soon as you hit the brakes. Same with these little underbone bikes, crap frames & high power means poor handling, and having driven/ridden on Thai tracks, let me tell you that due to the ambient temperature, the tracks are always slippery. Hats off to those guys here !
So painful to watch. It's like watching people racing 2 wheeled lawn mowers with tiny slimy eels for tires. All the bodies flipping and flying through the asphalt. Ouch
