- Sean and Chris talk with the newest band, and perhaps most controversial on Facedown Records, Cultist. Their newly released album Slow Suicide is a heavy beatdown metalcore record full of hard truth. We chat about the early days of the band stemming from a solo project, into a full act, and now the release of their label debut. Prepare for a wild ride full of laughs as well as the first ever unboxing on the KingdomCore Podcast, as we witness the band see their Vinyl for the first time in person.

It's really great to see bands who are actually walking the walk in terms of living out their faith. So many bands, imo, used the "christian metal band" to get going and then decided they were too cool for Jesus and "turned away" from their faith. Just super encouraging to see guys who love Jesus stick to their guns.
These dudes are heavy as nails. Once I heard an observation of grief I was hooked.

If Christians aren't bringing redemption, solace, peace, and an answer to the world, then most of what we do is pointless. My absolute favourite verse in the entirety of Scripture is Romans 12:21 "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good"... and to me, that is what living a life of faith is all about. We get to quench evil with good.
