      Thank you so much for watching 😀…..yes it’s shows a sign your succulent is happy and by blooming it appreciating your hardwork….for me the issue is mealy bugs and aphids the moment there is a new blooms they come like uninvited guest 😂

    Thanks. I bought some succulents on Amazon and one bloomed. I had no idea what to do with it. It finally started rooting thankfully. So neat. I've been watching a lot of your videos to learn how to care for them!

    Oh, I think the blooms are lovely. My Echeveria Agavoides has bight intense red bell shaped flowers. However, you are right about the pest magnet. Fortunately she is crackling with health and I eradicated them easily. Agreed tho, echeverias do suffer some when they have blooms. Once fully bloomed, I cut them off and kept them in a vase.

    Very informative and comprehensive videos. Could you please do a video on what fertiliser to use for succulents and how often?

    • @LushGardener
      @LushGardener  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Will do soon....but don’t worry even if u don’t use any it’s absolutely fine ....I haven’t used any fertiliser in 5 yrs of keeping succulents 😊
      But Incase u want to use go for liquid based fertiliser like sea weed
      Use less than 1/4 solution and mix it in 1 litre of water.
      Can be used only once a month or once in two months.
      Now the most important part you must only add fertiliser or nutrients to succulents that are in their growing period and not to dormant succulents.
      So here it’s very important for you to know what varieties of succulent you have and whether they are dormant or non dormant.
      I hope this can help you for time being till I make a video on it 😊

    My echeveria Onslow is producing stalks like crazy! Like you said it attracts mealy bugs and I already saw a couple of bugs milling about. I think I’ll cut it off when the weather allows me.

    Very Informative video. Please tell how and when to separate the pup from the mother plant.

    • @LushGardener
      @LushGardener  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for watching mam....yes I already have a video on that it’s called ....how to multiply succulents faster do check ....regarding separating the pups I would suggest let them grow a good size at least 2 inch then separate .....cause till the time it’s with mother plant u don’t have to do much plus it grow quite fast but once u cut it then. U need to take extra care and the growth wil be quite slow when the pup starts growing on its own and the growth also depends on the varieties some will be slow some will be quick

    Hi what is the best organic way to get rid of aphids? I have one large echeveria that I want to harvest the seeds from.

    • @LushGardener
      @LushGardener  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      organic is only cinnamon powder…. or you can just dip qtip in sanitizer or rubbing alcohol and just clean the bloom stalk carefully….but if you keep the Echeveria isolated the chance of it gettinf affected is less

      like usually my blooms gets affected with either mealy or aphids but there have been instances like my Echeverias noble not a single aphid on it just one or two mealy that was it but the entire blooming process was dont but luckily it didn’t get affected 😊🪴

    • @LushGardener
      @LushGardener  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hahaha don’t worry haworthia and other few succulent varieties have straight bloomstalk haworthia have thin and stiff bloomstalk and flowers are also very thin its up to you whether you wanna keep it or cut it but if your keeping it do a regular check incase u see any pest just cut it off
