Liked the video and ideas. I think keeping so much stuff on the counter top (even though its organised) makes it look more cluttered. In my opinion keep as much as inside and organised. It looks lot better and still accessible. Also microwave top must not be covered with tray. Fruit basket was okay though.

Just to correct one thing is don't cover the microwave top completely with heavy things like tray with cups. The microwave top has openings for ventilation and also gets heated. If you cover the top it will obstruct the ventilation and overheat the microwave. Avoid such practice. Otherwise good video.

Microwave is in a painful place. Use it diagonally which will also allow have it to have ample air and will not only look good but also allow the door to be open properly. Nice kitchen

Also I would like to comment out the food tray on microwave, it won't be a good idea to keep fruits on top as microwave eminates heat and the fruits might be rotten fast due to heat. Yes, it closes properly. You are correct. Actually, I forgot to mention that if planning to use the microwave for longer duration then just remove the basket before but using it simply for 30--40 seconds will not heat up the top and not harm anything.
