      for sql on prem to azure VM, direct take backup and restore or create Always on between 2 servers and do it.

    How to know if any failure at the time of schema migration? and how to perform from that point again instead of whole through DMA

      You will get an error message, you have to perform action from beginning

    Hi sir, I am getting Error SQL71501: Error validating element [dbo].[vwname]: View: [dbo].[Vwname] contains an unresolved reference to an object. Either the object does not exist or the reference is ambiguous because it could refer to any of the following objects: [dbo].[tablename].[columname].

      ​@@Niravgandhithank you for the response, no issue with the view sir, same database is restoring without any issue in local sqlservers. This issue arise when deploying in azure sql database. If I comment the function in view then no issues.but this function is required to retrieve some values and display in view. Please advise.
