what is recommended use case for Azure SQL (a)-Migrate all instances of Microsoft SQL server to Azure SQL to improve security and reduce Cost. (B)Migrate your on-permises SQL server instances directly to azure and get all benifits of migrated instances. Which is correct option ?
Hi Sir.. thank you so much for this video sharing. I have tried it and identified 2 issues during setup I would like to share them here. 1. from on-premise to Azure dbo schema is not allowed. I have tried with new schema created and fixed this issue. 2. Got TSL error post replication setup. PFB error message Number: 47072 Message: Reason: Login failed due to the client TLS version being less than the minimal TLS version allowed by the server. I have fixed this by changing the TLS in firewall settings - Minimum TLS version from 1.3 to 1.2 Finally set up the replication by following the same steps in your video. If possible please do videos on Managed Instances (MI). Thanks in advance.
I have a request brother...now a days a method used by majority of companies is Azure Data Studio...Please if you could make a SQL migration video using Azure Data Studio...i would be grtful...

For which scenarios we have to choose these tools(DMA, Data Replication, SSMS?
It's totally depends on your requirement for shorter downtime you can go ahead with replication and DMS.DMS video will release today
so, there is no need of distributor database ? i think in replication it is required as well.
