About Diesel:
Formed by American-born guitarist/vocalist Johnny Diesel (born: Mark Lizotte), while he was living in Perth, Australia, Johnny Diesel and the Injectors became one of Australia's best pub rock bands of the late-1980s. Their hits included such roots-oriented tunes as "Come To Me", "Tip of My Tongue", "Man Alive" and "Never Miss Your Water". Their self-titled debut album, recorded in Memphis, Tennessee and released in March 1999, received ARIA (Australia's equivalent of the Grammys) awards as "best new talent" and for "best selling album of the year".
growing up in the 90s, this song always brings back nostalgia of watching my favourite movie of back then, Airborne (1993)

I've just listened to all his incredible songs for the first time in years. i was a MASSIVE fan, bought all his cd's, saw him live many times and Tip of My Tongue is one of my top 5 all time fav songs of any artist. what a voice, what a talent. if you happen to read this mark, THANK YOU for sharing your talent and your gift with us!

Love this song great singer our drummer in the band I was in ,use to sing this song to his girlfriend and at gigs we played out ,our band .. Wow I'm a big johnny diesel fan since the 80s he's aewsome from warren.
My sister used to give him his lemons for the vodka back in the 90's at Caringbah Inn. Can't wait to see you in December will be nice to catch up and perhaps sing with my sister. :)
