Really enjoyed this thank you, I'm looking at leaving New Zealand for Vietnam myself. I have my young Labrador retriever though. Nice to see Vietnam from a kiwi perspective. I'm sure you'll have a lovely time over there in Vietnam 😊

Vietnam is great you will love it. Da Nang is a very popular destination for Ex Pats. If you go there be sure to look up Sleepy Dog Pub, we met a lot of people from all over the world there.

What a beginner's video. No price information. Really weak. Thumb down.

I've been in Vietnam for 1 year and have never ridden in a car. That's not how you travel in Vietnam. In Vietnam it's a moto riding to experience it. I hate to rain on your parade but but also no prices mentioned in your video and as a side note, you should take your shoes off when going inside. To your defense you did title it appropriately just saying hunting and not click bating that it's an informative or help to find an apartment. Still don't know how you could miss not giving prices though.

Thanks for your reply. We were very new at doing videos and probably left a lot of important info out. We originally only put the videos up for family and friends to follow our journey so weren't bothered about pricing.

Have you been able to relocate permanently to VN? Visiting in Sept, '24, and would hope to live there full-time, but getting mixed messages about Visas, etc.

There are a lot of expats living in Vietnam, the easiest way is to renew your visa very 3 months by doing a border crossing. Most people take a cheap flight to Thailand and back.

Thank you. Thus far, I've only heard about the border run to renew visas.

How can you stay permanently in Vietnam, you get either a one month or a three month visa which are not extendable. You must leave the country every three months for a visa run. The truth is you cannot live permanently in Vietnam unless you're investing or marrying a local. There is no such thing as a retirement visa in Vietnam.
    Now these are the facts.
