Ang ganda ng content!!! TY Dr. Gail and Dr. Mara!!!! I felt seen and validated when you talked about those blanket approach echoed commonly on social media like NOT use retinoid on top of other actives and I feel guilty every time because I do the opposite. As a person who can tolerate all, I must say, listen to your skin talaga and thank you for reinforcing this that it really depends. And now I’m reaping the benefits of tretinoin on top of other actives like vit c, acids, and other serums. I must say my skin looked better compared peak pandemic and now I know my realistic skin goals and the products that really worked for me. Thanks both to your contents!
Yeeeeesss!!! Ang hirap talaga to generalize kasi iba iba tayo ng skin type, skin issues, exposures, lifestyle and preferences! Im glad you found this video informative and helpful 🥰🤗☺️ thank you for sharing here your skincare journey and sa trust and support 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Exactly!!! Thank you for sharing! My husband has tolerant skin and he layers actives one over the other whereas I am the opposite! I would have to start slowly with less frequent applications and even buffer with moisturizers before I can start using active ingredients together on a daily basis 🙏🏻☺️
My current derma told me NOT to use moisturizer at night because I’m super oily, even though she prescribed me tretinoin 0.1%, clindamycin toner and benzoyl peroxide. Just a sunscreen in the morning. Kaya po masyadong nairritate face ko and she told me to use desonide for 4 days. After that, I had steroid acne😢
@@irenegaile Thank you po doc🫶🏼 I’m only dealing with PIH and some acne na lang po after using Epiduo. Tinigil ko po kasi ibang prescriptions. Babalik na lang po ako sa Epiduo since ito po nagpa-clear ng pimples and PIH ko last year 🫶🏼
Hi Doc, im via. Please make a topic about proper face massage po. Because there are many steps and stroke about facial massaging but i actually really dont know if its a proper or better to my skin. Im always wacthing to your videos Doc, everything of the topic that i want to learn mostly it here na.. you enlighten me so much about many procedures and how to take care my skin and my patient in a proper way ❤ I hope Doc you make more videos pa that i can watch and learn all the things that i can share to all my patient po ☺️🥰 Love you Doc.
Thank you!!! Alam mo good idea yan, but since wala akong alam jan, i will make content about facial massage by experiencing different facials from different places 🤗
Galing very informative content po Doc Gaile and Doc Mara 👏. Thank you ❤. Yes same po wla na akong time to wait 5-15 mins in between for layering products 😁
@see_1Jay for me po i use cream type of moisturizer kasi i have dry skin, that’s one of the things Ive learned kay Doc Gaile then just follow the thinnest to thick rule
Really thankful for these facts. I am an oily and acne-prone skin and I use just a small amount of moisturizer. However, every time I applied my skin care products from cleanser, serum, moisturizer, to sunscreen, my face feels greasy and somehow oily after 10 to 20 mins. Is it normal Doc?
This post-effect conveys me to conclude that applying moisturizer might not be good for me having oily skin. But this video disagreed with my conclusion and stated the facts.
You're probably using products that aren't suitable for your skin type. My skin is oily and acne prone as well, and I struggled with that too when I was a beginner with skincare, but two years later, after perfecting my routine, I don't get greasy and oily after 30 minutes of applying skincare.
@@jaspherbuen we did say that not everyone needs a moisturizer and that most products already contain moisturizers in them, which may mean that additional moisturizers are not anymore necessary.
Hi doc, I’ve recently purged because I stopped taking OCP (for years) to take a break. I tried using adapalene (klenzit) but my faced purged even more (especially on chin area) and stopped using it after a month (as prescribed by derm). Now I’m back with OCP but I have a lot of acne marks. What’s the best treatment to lighten acne marks? And do you suggest I do tretinoin? (saw a lot of your content on this as gold standard). Thanks so much doc!
To lighten marks you can try products with ingredients like arbutin, kojic acid, gluta etc. For specific recommendations I suggest a consultation so that your skin can be properly assessed :)
hello po. may syringoma po ko. any recommendation po na skincare just to lessen my syringoma. i have a combination to sensitive skin po. sana mapansin. thankyouuu.

I recommend you add an exfoliating toner (with AHA or BHA) and skip the moisturizer before your sunscreen in the mornings.

Hello po ask ko lng po kung pwede ipagsabay ang ocecure facial wash sa maxipeel
Hi doc gaile I’m suffering acne 2years na May clinic po ba kayo para makapag pa consult ako sa Inyo . Thank you
Yes! DERMHQ in salcedo village, Makati and beautiqueMD in BGC, Taguig
hello po. may syringoma po ko. any recommendation po na skincare just to lessen my syringoma. i have a combination to sensitive skin po. sana mapansin. thankyouuu.
Unfortunately no skincare product can remove or improve the appearance of syringomas. You will need in-clinic treatment/procedure.
Pano naman po yung milk it causes acne lalo na yung mga fresh milk or whole milk. Ano pong masasabi nyo po
Doc paano ko po ba ipapantay yung color ng leeg ko sa face ko? Huhu
glad I learned a lot 🤎
