Today I go over if it is worth investing in Weiss Schwarz Bang Dream Countdown Colection Premium Booster Box. The cards have character signatures not voice actor sign cards.
Saekano still hasn't sold a SP or SEC card on TCGPLAYER The Weiss Schwarz cards are too expensive and demand is low.
I take a look at Weiss Schwarz Dengeki Bunko cards.
Union Arena will be releasing card sets for Bleach Thousand Year Blood Waf, Hunter x Hunter, Jujutsu Kaisen (JJK), One Punch Main, Demon Slayer, and Code Geass.
There is a Kickstarter campaign for Oshi Push Vtuber Trading Card Game.

Weiss is the only TCG where I've had way better returns just buying the singles. Makes it nice being able to collect while also seeing retained or even gained value.
Anyone that can say their single purchases gained value are those who collected during pandemic and/or those that were blessed by BGS lotto.
@@SungjinCho-s5w Neither. They haven't all gained value but overall I'm doing ok (On paper). Got some sealed AOT Final season cases as well. Bad investment but I love AOT.
potentially. i know there are a lot of mispriced cards in weiss and some are traps with lack of demand

About a year into the pandemic, Rudy talked a lot about WS and I found your channel so I picked up a bunch of sealed product over a 9 month period. I have a sealed case of WS Bofuri from 2021 and it seems really difficult to properly value it or sell it. Almost no product available or liquidity.
Weiss is weird. I find the singles are fairly liquid but selling sealed is hard. The problem is if you sell single boxes people assume they're mapped. Sealed cases on the other hand often become very expensive meaning there's not a huge amount of people who can afford it. It'll sell eventually but could take months. It's the never ending conundrum. Could you just sell to Rudy? You'll probably still be well in profit even if he pays 60-70%.
i'm interested in your sealed bofuri case, what's your asking?
that definitely is a missing when people think weiss. it really is important to think about an exit strategy which i know plenty that have not thought about it
based on this and the other message u definitely must be targeting some specific sets. saekano isnt going to sell generally speaking. sealed is still manageable like azur lane sealed single boxes.
So the next game is to attempt to calculate your own personal value from viewing personal belongings from your videos? The %'s shown are helpful. I'm still shocked that Saekano has zero sales yet at the same time I didn't see much opened. Thanks again.
luckily i didnt put my house in there or someone could roughly calc that. the amazing part was just sitting there adding up all the sealed and cards. that was a number i didnt expect.

My pie chart is similar to yours. Cards are 5% of my portfolio as well. But if I calculated my cards at my purchase price, they would probably be 20%. Am I doing it right ? :)
depends on what your goals and weighting u want to be at. with investments, money managers would have trimmed it to make the weighting less because if there is a downturn you can wreck the investment portfolio.
I have bought one of each Saekano SP for at most half of what is shown on tcg player. I’m still waiting for those prices to fall more before I decide to buy.

Sealed Weiss is bad because you have to go for a master case before anyone commits to purchasing it, and at that point it’s not very liquid. It would probably take months/a year to sell a master case of an older set at a marked up price.
do u mean buy a master case before preorders or just because people dont trust a single case?
ya while i calced my asset pie chart, i discounted them to what i think they could actually sell for vs the paper price of them. i doubt the high premium would work unless someone really wants that set bad. there are only a few like that.
Union arena also doesn’t do spicy cards like Weiss has, another reason why Weiss wouldn’t die by union arena’s hand
no one comes close right now in english from that aspect. hearing people say ua would kill weiss always makes me laugh
