I just asked her and she did try a bitter spray. I never looked but it smelled like vinegar to me so I just assumed there are different type of sprays. Hopefully there is something else.

probably in their own way. I know Lily can so food puzzles but Willow can't. The two dogs I had in the past were the same way. One could do puzzles and the other couldn't.

Anyways I love your videos, I’m a Weiss investor that has sunk too much into this game. Bro I have like $50k cost basis on my collection. But tbh it’s probably only worth 60-70% now lol. But atleast my cards look nice :)

youtube has been pretty good to me. there was a point i thought i was done since it wasnt worth potentially my family getting hurt cause i do card videos. im still here. dang that is a bit. well hopefully the ips u got were nice and at least u got some nice cards. i love seeing all them brown boxes.

yep there are a few left on the internet in the 50s. hunter x hunter seems a little more difficult to find

theyve been pushing the super prerelease so i would hope august 2nd we can do it on the app. however if it is really in store signups, i wouldnt be surprised. more cause signing up / buying the deck.

@BigBAnimeTCG I'm going to guess it's on the app. I hope I'll be able to get into the prerelease. My locals is only getting 8 of each starter deck for 16 players max. Hopefully I can get the deck I want.

@BigBAnimeTCG bleach definitely. I just started hunter x hunter and I'm not that far into it to be interested in the cards.

i cant wait for the new season of bleach. hopefully u get that starter.

at least OSICA has point cards. i think all booster boxes should have the potential for more hits outside the 1 SSR for OSICA in this case.

@@BigBAnimeTCG Exactly. Upper Deck had this issue with their Signature Cuts product where each case would have one cut signature made into a card…they used cut signatures as autographs because the player was a deceased one. Loose boxes of that product became $25 where it was over $120 retail.

@Rorschachqp now we got to worry about scanners lol! seriously though itd be nice if card makers would prevent dead boxes.

@@BigBAnimeTCG Yeah. Upper Deck for the most part have fixed that in their products. The scanner issue dates back to 1990 when Pro Set made metal hologram cards worth hundreds of dollars while boxes retailed for like 15-20 bucks. People just scanned cases with metal detectors to find the cards. Once that was figured out, people would buy hundreds of cases and then dump the remaining sealed but scanned product at slightly below cost, flooding the market.

@Rorschachqp it always is neat to see people figuring these things out. i know people dont want to hear this but people will always look for an advantage.

i dont know when we will see the hand signs for UA. the starter decks for Bleach and Hunter x Hunter are just shiny alts. UA will put pressure as I have already guessed with Weiss' Nikke announcement. They still will be ok since UA doesnt cover all the IPs. I still think they should compliment each other vs one over the other.

@@BigBAnimeTCG yea i totally agree. and i was basing on the japanese version released so far on the 2 stars and up cards that look nice. for now it does seem like weiss has more IPs than UA but also we have seen UA do same IP as weiss like sao and atot. i guess we will just have to wait for the future.

@AniSculpts those UA new sets look so nice. i cant wait for Bleach 2. i used this example on another comment but someone that love magical girls may not be interested in Bleach or JJK. they cover different genres. the problem with Weiss is no matter how much they cram in releases they can only do so many. UA covers the holes in genre Weiss misses. same for Weiss with UA. I think people miss the fact that by getting people interested in cards of anime themes and IPs, that leads to increased business in the long term as people delve deeper into anime.

the retailers i know are sold out. you may have to look up some sellers on the internet or try ebay or something similar.

yep they are just splashing whatever background on already existing art. the new lycoris recoil set will have new illustrations. i imagine they go down that path as the tcg progresses. i think the thought is that not a lot of fans (comparatively of course) bought the weiss version. With their giant fan base, having an official card game should bring more in. they wouldnt know this art was used in weiss. i know this art was used for other things but tcg wise would still be new to them.

i think they will. part of my reasoning is just because they make a standalone game, that doesnt mean everyone will just buy it. the game could even fail. this was the smartest deal i think they could make.

it probably will be if it is 1 per case. u have a shot but that shot is really small lol. glad youre keeping the faith on a vol 3.

i think the big difference between quints and hololive is that hololive has its own game. it doesnt help that it has the same art that people would be getting from this new RE:Mix box. the Re:Mix box seems interesting. nice for people that wanted the product. i really wonder how the case rates on those will be.

Kidani said to some degree that they would try to not have that happen with Rebirth and Weiss. it still happens though. i think they will get some more hololive stuff in the future. i still think that was part of the deal for helping create a game.

considering that theyre one of the big sponsors for their event, probably will always have cards

my thoughts exactly. coco was not in vol 2 but they left her in this new box for vol 1. it makes sense that is the explanation.

i kind of want the box more just to see some what it looks like missing some members. hololive money must be nice for them.

theyve been reprinting so i guess this is a way to possibly take care of both sets at the same time. this also gives a chance to push the hololive official card game.

makes sense. that is why both will exist. one wont destroy the other as long as there are enough people willing to buy it. bushiroad will have less money because of it but can continue to live. same with union arena. the smaller names may not be around but that is expected.

When people spend hundreds or thousands of dollars on a card, I would think they would want to display it in such a way that they could enjoy looking at it every day. Even if you have a display case, can you really see the card from across the room? This is one reason why I prefer sealed stuff--it's a better display piece. That said, I think if there were some kind of innovation, like a glass frame with magnification glass, you might see even more growth in the market for the higher end art cards.

@@joshuabixby31 i think that would be great in theory but not really practical. me personally that just revolves around the lack of space. i dont even have a card easel at this point. im just lazy. if u check my videos with the background i just lean the cards against whatever is behind it. i think as a collector, step 1 is to actually get the collectible. that would be the hardest part. after is just enjoying it whatever form that may be. i do love a mix of sealed and singles. sealed feels more fun with what could be inside. not even just a big hit but all the cards for nostalgia sake. i wonder if any sort of museums have anything like that.

@vinhdo5871 that isnt true at all. id have to go back through my videos but i know for a fact reprints happened without an announcement before preorders opened for it. whoever said it is misinformed. i talk about this at the end of this video.

I wondered how people tried to deal with this! I tried moving Lily's food to a different spot but she doesn't eat then. She will only eat next to her sister Willow. That is what I assumed though. Thanks for your story! I never tried moving Willow's food so maybe that will work as long as I'm quiet about it.

not a bad thought. one i had myself but i think they will be keeping it. somewhat a trade for helping them make a tcg. i think this really is they are running out and just want to have some stored to sell at conventions since hololive is a big ip

hopefully cheap. still some expensive double rares and the amount of double rares in this set.

@@BrownandWeiss Yeh the funny thing is we were told it was extended due to how popular it is.... 😅 which I mean it is popular but yeh haha Having 1 set open for a few weeks and another open for 1 day... it's just I guess the usual bushi inconsistencies

my guess is open print window. also bushiroad probably are going to print a bunch with or without preorders.
