I that case, when one piece of text is more up than the rest, I create an auto layout and position the two text blocks then. Hope I got your question right, David 😅. If not just hit me up with a specific scenario 😉.
@@PimpmyType Your solution is what I have been doing myself. The scenario I have is when I am using an iconfont that is not aligned with the baseline of a normal text font. Traditional Adobe products have this functionality. I wondered if I was missing a trick.
Figma indeed introduced some great new typography features with their latest releases. But I'm still desperately waiting for a simple setting for automatic word hyphenation, maybe with an additional setting for language, so that Figma can pick the correct ruleset. It's possible for years in CSS (and other tools), but still not available in Figma.
