  • On this trip we go to El Kef, a city close to the border between Tunisia and Algeria. It’s a bit different as we will get there via a Sightseeing Train!
We start of the Tunis Gare Centrale and board the train and got on our way. We stopped in a few locations where we saw an old locomotive and a natural dried river bed. Great opportunities for pictures!
After about 3 hours, we arrived at El Kef, we walked up the hill through the city and we headed into the old town. There we saw a great roman ruin of a Water temple that housed a hot bath, gymnasium, library and even an underground Church.
We then visited an Dar El Kahine an old house of a Sultan, then the Museum of Popular Art and culture and an old church dedicated to St. Peter.
We then walked to the Kasbah and passed the Sidi Bou Makhlouf Mausoleum on the way. After a short visit to the Kasbah, we had some tea and listened to traditional music before we made our way back to the train.
A great day to experience the history and culture of this region.
    Thanks for watching!

I like the fact that you always give the necessary information from a cultural and historical point of view. I am Tunisian and I have already visited most places you visited, but it is always interesting to rediscover these places through your eyes.
i hope someday you will make a video about the things you liked in tunisia, and the things you did not like too, constructive criticism is welcome too.
Ah, and a video about the cultural differences between your country and Tunisia, what kind of cultural choc you may have encountered etc..

Kef means in our ancient language the hill or the small mountain
Happy to see your video showing one aspect of our beloved Tunisia which offers a superbe diversity that in only 350 km you turned from mountains and snow to desert and sand

Lol. I was actually thinking, "That's so cool of the driver to stop and let passengers stretch their legs, and lets them see the cockpit." I didn't know such a tourist train existed in Tunisia.
You're the only vlogger I know who covers the less popular places in Tunisia. And I see the country is full of these little towns, and they're do cool. I wonder if I ever visit if i will be able to visit them all.
EDIT: I cannot find this train. What's it called?
