I'm not kidding here Adam, you have turned me into a vintage watch junkie. I would have to go with the Vacheron QP Skeleton Ref. 43532J, what a beautiful piece of craftsmanship.
Great video, lots of watches shown, lots of knowledge, very relaxing, my only criticism is to include Roman Sharf who I find totally dishonest (Mr Sharf makes videos with fake official Rolex sellers "official Rolex dealer" who was actually someone from his team). Why and who does that?
Brother I’m from Wales in the United Kingdom, I’m a watch collector but by no way an expert, I love your videos as I learn things on every episode … I would love to one day buy a watch from you 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Adam, you have one of the best collections of vintage watches for sale I have ever seen. You just keep enforcing the fact that your experience and knowledge of vintages watches is on another level. All the watches I have seen in your showcase are remarkable, you have a great eye. Very impressive, I'm really happy you and those aspiring to be like you will ensure that the love for these watches will continue well into the future. I hope you had a great show, thanks, I enjoyed this episode. 😊
You could update the title...24' means 24 feet. The abbreviation for 2024 is '24. Apart from that, I love some of the vintage '80s watches, especially the Piaget Polo watches in white gold. They've never made it the top of my must-have list yet, but one of these days, I'll have to get one.
Your content is a breathe of fresh air brother this is what the watch community needs in youtube more enthusiast with passion and good knowledge. Lastly Menta i appreciate your 2 minutes the other day i drove by you at the Porsche show and waved you down and gave you my respect and you stopped and gave me a minute of your time 🤙🏼 Love the content 💯🤘🏼
So enjoyable! Loved the vintage content and the excellent photography (plus the editing)! I also noticed the buying & selling going on, unlike the boiler room channels that do not show the transactions. I look forward to giving Adam a call when I am ready to buy my first vintage watch!
This was in 2004, so who knows. Also, they refused to restore it, so no work was done. Had they worked on it, 99% they would have forced a service dial on him and the watch.
Possibly the best vintage watch episode I've seen and I love the channel, but then along comes Roman (I love the sound of my own voice) Sharf. Does that dude ever actually listen to anyone?
what's the Surname of Massimo, the italian guy with the blue tank cintrèe? I met him a couple of years ago and I have been trying to find him since! someone help please
@@mentawatchesOk i stand corrected, this is why i could never do this business successfully, as soon as someone said something suspect I’m never doing business with them.
like your stuff but man having Roman Sharf in videos after the Anthony Farrer situation is a really bad look. Guy promoted Anthony and is on video saying he's knows for a fact he's not a scam artist right before he stole $5m from innocent people.
I think you might be being a bit hard on Roman.... It's not a good look but he was clearly deceived.... I'd suggest it happens to everyone at least once. Hopefully he has learnt from that mistake.
I have bought from Roman, and despite the court of public opinion's crusade, Roman has the integrity for me to buy a luxury watch. Plus his endorsement of Adam in the vintage watch market speaks volumes.
@@dannysimenauer5745 Roman's endorsement speaks volumes? WHAT? He has endorsed 2 people recently that have been caught running ponzi schemes (Anthony and another guy named the Watch Wizard ), not to mention his association with Paul Thorpe whos own son was arrested for selling fake watches. He didn't just endorse Anthony, he also defended him after about 50 other scandals and said he was a great guy. ( several police reports with very racist details prove Anthony is in fact, not a great guy)
@@stooliesam8938 You make a very good point. I am only saying that my interaction with Roman directly only resulted in positive outcomes . But I can see your perspective.
Innocent until proven guilty, and we don’t really know Roman behind the scenes. But it doesn’t look good for you and your brand to feature this guy in your videos. With all the CON-signment going on and Roman’s boy/best friend Timepiece Gentlemen Anthony drama. Stay way from Roman. We appreciate your content but you are better than that.
Do you know how much energy it would take to constantly say “the gmt with the black dial and bi color blue and black bezel reference number #********* 😂 Or just saying the reference number 99% of people won’t know what they’re saying . We’ve had nicknames for watches for decades !! The Smurf , the Kermit , the hulk , hell the Pepsi has been called the Pepsi for literally 50+ years !
What was your favorite watch from the show?
Hands down the Bvlgari. Is it for sale!?
For sure the VC from argentina, just insane

Damn this is an absolute gem of a channel glad I found it.
I’m obsessed with these watch show videos, I could watch them all day

Just cool to just geek out .... Thanks Adam.

Thanks Frank! You gotta come visit next year!
Menta and WatchBox Studios are the two best watch channels on TH-cam for horological history and its not even close.
That’s a big compliment, thank you!

Thank you so much for sharing such a great content! Made my day.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Enjoyed this so much - again ;) Thanks Adam. Hope you are well again.
Thanks, you too!
Really great video. Thank you!
Glad you liked it!
Knowledgeable show🔥…much appreciated Adam 🙏🙏🙏
Very nice vid, also the panel !
Outstanding.
Excellent Video. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
A quick closeup view of the pieces would be awesome to an already great show!
Noted!
Good video 👍🇬🇧
Love the content. Vintage watches are fascinating.
What was that beautiful cartier in the case right next to the Prive’ Tank Normale ? At about the 22:50 mark
Thanks
Bill

Thanks so much!
Some stunning watches, you have got me into vintage
That’s great, welcome :)
Excellent video! Thanks!
You are welcome!
Great piece definitely want to hit that show up next year.
You should come, it’s the best!
Best watch youtube. Always something new
🤟
I need a Vacheron with the papers. Those are cool af lol. And the wooden dial!
for the great content you do you deserve more subscribers, keep on going the great work
I appreciate that!
Really informative, kept these coming
Thanks, will do!
The vintage Vacheron at 30:30 is uffffffffffff 🔥
What happened to Alessandro’s voice when he said “yeah probably” 😂😂😂😂😂 around 1min 45
😂😂😂😂😂
Not easy being on camera
Great video and I’m glad you called out that guy trying to sell you that “original” Rolex 👏
The Garnet dial is fire
Great job.
Thanks!
The AP perpetual in the first segment was really interesting.
You’re the 🐐 my bro
extra nice 5:09
37mm nice piece ..id buy that within reason...
im not sure rolex would hand back a repainted dial? as that wasnt their inhouse produced brand logo.
This was in 2004, so who knows. Also, they refused to restore it, so no work was done. Had they worked on it, 99% they would have forced a service dial on him and the watch.
3:25 why is the bottom strap backwards? 😅
That tropical dial in the beginning of the video was insane was that really only $1,200 and was it a 36mm??
That was clearly a joke
He was joking :)
Possibly the best vintage watch episode I've seen and I love the channel, but then along comes Roman (I love the sound of my own voice) Sharf. Does that dude ever actually listen to anyone?
I was waiting for them to show the purple dial presidential watch but they never showed it😢
Crazy amount of grail watches on the same video 🤤
Video was missing a lot of you though!
I have a starfish buckle for your Deepstar guy.
Vacheron Constatin was amazing. These videos are vintage watch college.
Glad you like them!

Hi Adam, how have you managed to acquire such knowledge about Rolex? Would you have any advice on bibliography on the brand?
The Rolex 18038 day date that the second guy had. Question, how much should I pay for a watch like that no papers ?
Mid to high teens depending on condition
Is this one open to the public?
Yep! Every year in January.
@@mentawatches Thanks hope to see you there some time!
calling John Buckley a tiktoker is too wild lol
That 18038 is on hodinkee for $16,500.
Hodinkee stopped selling vintage watches years ago. Likely an old listing.
please, you need another Tone for you´r ,,Beeep" !!! thx for the video
Fun Fact: My ex girlfriends father owned the rights to Rolex in Venezuela (he and his bothers who were Peruvian)
Did he say 1200 for that rolex with tje tropical dial🦾
“Hey I’ll buy a watch from you if you’ll pretend the watch I made is special”
Can regular Joe non-dealer drops by and buys those watches at the antique show?
Yep!
That dude pushing that 5508 as original needs to chill.
Indeed.
Imagine buying any watch from that pixilated guy at 19:00. You will always be sorry
To be fair, we did buy a very nice GMT from him. But he was way off his meds pushing the Sub as all original.

No one has a crystal ball. Even great dealers make bad judgment calls at point Roman’s good people.

Interesting that you still buy from shady dealers. One watch is not good, but if the other seems good you will still buy it.
This content is great, watching guys buying modern watches and calling them quirky names(Batgirl, Sprite, etc) is boring and completely off…

Why do you give Luxury Bizzare the time of day? These people vouch vouch for dishonest dealers? I love your content but this stains your good name.
Damn flippers are getting desperate.
Seeing Roman Scharf ruined the video for me
That guy with the Rolex letter needs to learn how to read English. “Swiss origin” isn’t the same as “all original”.
Roman is an embarrassment
Классные часы и всё такое прочее, но блин - сраные часовые барыги!
Как скажешь братан!
Men wearing ladies watches will never look good in my eyes... it may gain steam in the fashion world but a Cartier tank looks best on our wives.
Sad old man
Piaget from Italian gent was to die for. 20K is fair.
Adam, I love your content always. I was wondering if you can help me find a birth year watch from 1970? Please let me know.
