You took off a fox factory 38 that needed service and replaced it with a new fork that was the exact same and added volume spacers, rather than just service the current fork, which you clearly know how to do? Don’t get me wrong, having a backup would be great but it doesn’t really make sense.
Have you seen MBR new video? Showing how the battery falls out this new polygon when hitting the jumps! Better check it out mate it near caused a bad accident! Polygon themselves are saying to measure the battery lock clips in the frame they are just to tight and not giving a full clip hold to the battery causing the battery to fly out the bottom! Before anything check this out bro!
I don't have a bike expensive like this one, but i thought i would ask, for my XC MTB bike but has coil forks, i thought about rockshox judy airforks forks, are Air forks worth an upgrade to coil? Also how much do you have to service air forks ?
Air forks are a must upgrade. They make your riding experience so much better, but you have to maintain it also. The air forks are much more complicated than the coil forks.
Nah if you just riding not much and like flat ground, save ya money, but if you riding out and about then hell yea, it’ll feel so much better + maintenance for both ain’t that bad but coils is obviously easier Both are easy enough tho
