Speaking of the actor from Beef, the director of Beef, Lee Sung Jin, directed this MV. He did an interview explaining what is the interpretation of the MV, RM is representing all walks of life. Him being the head of the family, being in a bickering relationship, a friend, and him as a baby. Notice that his outfit changes in each room. The woman he meets, who is also running around, is a reflection of himself. He finds happiness within himself and lives life happy no matter what you are going through. When he says “Spring’s always been here” he’s saying he’s fine, he is happy. Supposedly the MV and lyrics is inspired by the book “The Midnight Library”. It’s one of RM’s favorite books to read.

Maybe... RM "wondering in the maze of life, in different dimensions", which door we walk through and what remains behind closed doors? What others want/ what you want? Can you be happy what ever is behind the door you open?... This is real song what we can really listen, like a movie to watch and thoughts to talk about after💜
There are several interpretations, for me the last woman is the inspiration that an artist needs to can live any life he choose. Possibilities are infinite, if you find first yourself and then deep in yourself you find the right inspiration, you can go outside an live your real full life, any life you want to live. Yo can then be a friend, a father and a husband, a lover, a son, a happy person.
RM is genius btw BTS doesn't have a typical sound nor the members of BTS, they're always exploring different genres, you will notice it when you will start doing album reviews 💜
I like this song! I didn't think as much about it at first but I downloaded it and I play it back to back with his Forever Rain, walking around the city. It's perfect! Mellow! Puts you in a mood. 💜

Thanks for the vid! RM is a poet, so maybe that is the real him? lol. I was thinking it was about not wanting to meet others expectations and finding yourself, so you can finally escape. I am sure its open to other interpretations as well. But the following is not my interpretation or my words but it is so good, I can't not share. Not sure who the OP is but all credit to them.
~Minha is a librarian in the MV. The house is a library where Namjoon goes door to door from book to book. These each rooms are individual books. Each book takes him to a different environment in a different situation. All these books take him to those times of his life like: childhood with parents, love life, married life, drinking with friends, failure At the end we see Minha leading him inside what is essentially a bookshelf and Namjoon sees the failures of his own life in the books inside.
Those who have read the book The Midnight Library will understand this whole thing. This is a book that Namjoon has read, liked and recommended. The final scene resembles a bookshelf in the Midnight Library where each book depicts protagonist Nora Seed's regrets. Nora is a 34-year-old woman with depression who wanted to commit suicide. She passes between life and death. And that place is called midnight library. We see Joon running from door to door in a corridor. He is given one more chance to go through his penances. The point is, "If I hadn't done that, maybe this wouldn't have happened to me."
After reading the books, entering those rooms, Namjoon realizes that nothing more could have been done in this situation than what he did. He finally realizes that he is the best version of himself and has nothing to regret. That's what we see at the end. Namjoon is getting out of those situations with librarian Minha. Then he came back to his present situation, hanging out with those friends and completely clear minded. This means he has no regrets or regrets. By "Come back to me " he's calling his own old real self back to Himself and he finds himself back. ~

RM the most talented rapper, composer, songwriter, producer and human being ,every song he does has a different story and different emotions!!
This song is about the pressure to grow up within predetermined boundaries, such as the social construction of marriage and having a heteronormative partner, it's really profound knowing how in Korean society especially, people live a lot by social pressure and what people expect of them, That is why in the end we see how he understands that he does not

About the stitches on his eye, when they were starting to film the MV he hit his head with a camera, he was rushed to the ER and took care of his wound and then returned to the shooting. The director was very worried and said, jokingly, I'm going to be deported, I damaged a national treasure. 😅
