In 2012, the group Big Mama was disbanded and each member is serving as a practical music professor at several universities. And fans of Big Mama, who made a comeback in 2021, liken Big Mama to idols and call them professors dols.🤓
Whoa the eldest is eldest by far (well not really just more than expected). Would never have thought it. She carries so much charisma and self-assuredness. Love it!!
'Resignation' is her story. She wrote the song herself, wrote the lyrics, and even sang it. It's probably more emotional because she's singing her own story.

The song that Yeonghyeon Lee sang alone is seriously the most famous song for the girls, in karaoke. Lol
They disbanded on 2012 and then came back with new song, in 9yrs. The individuals are now working as a professors in different universities. So there's funny subtitle called "the very best Group Project, for vocal students, that they want" 🤣🤣

Fun fact: BIGMAMA are musical professors in different universities in South Korea, so that gives them the credibility that they really know what they are doing. The members are from left to right: Prof. Shin Yeonah, Prof. Lee Jiyoung, Prof. Lee Younghyun, Prof. Park Minhye.
Shin Yeonah teaches at Howon University (she also studied jazz music in France)
Lee Jiyoung taught at Seoul Arts College
Lee Younghyun taught at Hanyang University
Park Minhye was a dean of the vocal dept at Seoul National University of Arts

The best Bigmama reaction video ever! The vocal tips, subtitles, and reactions are 10 out of 10! Happy to know your channel. FYI, Lee Young-hyun's solo song, Take it, is one of the challenging high note songs to Korean girls lol I think most Korean girls try that at a karaoke once! Bigmama is back this year in 8 years and they've shocked the K-pop world again!

So the singer who sang the last solo is known to be one of the powervocal singer in Korea for years, and this is one of the songs womens will challenge to sing it in the Karaoke, and even male singers will challenge to sing it in Female key. And also this vocal group "Big Mama" was and always is one of the best ever in Korea.

Korean culture has some kind of courtesy, manner or respect for elder people even a year. Also there are suitable appellations about elder and younger person for man and woman.
So saying youngest is not strange when introducing.
And as you get older, Maknae (the youngest) loves letting folks know that he/she is the Maknae of their group 😂

Resignation is the song that is most often sung as a favorite Korean karaoke song.
I strongly recommend listening to it again while looking at the lyrics.

Anyway, I really enjoyed your reaction and description.
Big Mama is a girl group who got huge fame only by their vocal abilities in Korea while the others all focused on choreos and raps at the time.
They all have main vocalist quality in a group, but Lee Young Hyun, 3rd one from the left, is normally enlisted in Korea's top female vocalist. For her solo song "체념", you can find so many clips here, not to mention it is one of the favorite Karaoke songs in Korea.
You can also find Morissette's cover version of "Resignation(체념)"
I wish you can react more of Korean vocalists.

11:43 that song is covered by an artist you've reacted to before, it was covered by Asia's Phoenix Morisette Amon. She sang/covered it Asia Song Festival 2018 in South Korea. Mori surprised everyone by singing it in English then switching it up to Korean at the climax of the song. I love their talent, I'm in love with each of their vocals. Not understanding the language but, when you feel you just want to protect them (betrayal) the song is translating.
