You've inspired me to visit my local Free Library, it's been too long and I have a stack of books to donate, heh. Though my local one is a shopfront in a shopping centre which is big enough to hold about 5 whole bookcases, so it's more like a Big Free Library! 😁

A teacher for an elementary school by my place set up a little free library, her idea was to keep it for kids books and encourage them reading. However, there have consistently been large stacks of romance novels of the "bodice ripper" variety dropped off! I was there once and she came by to organize the books and she was pretty upset about it, she took them all out and added more kids books.
Oh no! I haven’t experienced anything like that! I know some in my city that have special disclaimers on the front says for kids books only etc! I’m not sure if she has set that up yet, but that’s all I could think to do!
