Could you review the new Arcade 1up Pacman/Galaga 2 in 1 countercade that they are showing on home shopping network? I want to buy one as a Christmas gift, but i'm worried that Galaga still plays slow. Thanks.
Sad reality: when these came out in the 70s, they were an oat cereal. Because of that, they were crisp, had a great flavour, and could sit in milk for 40 minutes without losing any of its crunch. Delicious and amazing. In the early 90s, they switched to using corn instead of oats. Like all corn cereal, it just has to touch liquid to instantly turn to a tasteless horrifying paste. Little wonder sales disappeared and they were discontinued. If they ever brought back the original formula, they would again be greater than any other cereal ever. Unfortunately, they've ignored all of the online petitions to fix their mistakes. :(
Holy moley. I wasn't aware of the recipe change. That may account for how bad Frankenberry tastes today, because I remember really liking it when I was young.
I liked Frankenberry or Count Chocula but it looks like they changed it from when we were kids. I never cared for Boo Berry. After about 2 bowls I was done. I will admit I NEVER saw Fruit Brute or fruity yummy mummy on the shelf.
I miss Count Chocula cereal. Now that I'm a successful Gen X'er, I pay whatever it takes to order it and have it shipped to me. No guilt! Yet I drive a 90 year old car....
@@GenXGrownUp They are empty. I put newspaper in them so the couldn't be crushed so easily. The Fruit Bruit cereal was a cherry flavor while yummy mummy was more like orange in flavor

As a kid my favorite was Franken Berry. I now buy one box every Halloween season to get my Strawberry fix until the next year. My wife likes the Boo Berry. So for my list it would be Franken Berry, Boo Berry, and Count Chocula. I think you also have to take into consideration what the milk taste like. I love the Strawberry milk that the Franken Berry makes. Of course Count Chocula makes chocolate milk which is fine, but I don't know about Blue berry milk.
Looks like they were very cheap on the marshmallows on Booberry and Franken berry. I always loved FrankenBerry when I was a child because strawberry was my favorite fruit at the time, blue berries my second, even though I also liked CountChocula too! I am guessing either you had an unusual pack or they purposely made CountChocula better and skimped on the other 2.
I enjoyed Chocula so much that I went back and grabbed a couple more boxes while the were in stock. And I will say that although the bowl I poured in this video was unusually heavy on the marshmallows (not that I'm upset), the other boxes I got were generous but not to that extent.
One thing that surprised me was the marshmallow to cereal ratio of the Count, compared to the other two. One would think that the manufacturer would be consistent across all 3 products.

Back a few years ago Target released all 5 monster cereals.They came in replica boxes of the original look .I Have all 5 displayed

I suspect that's why The Count is so chocolatey. Those marshmallows bring a lot more flavor just the the flavored ghosts.
I find the Count Chocula taste pretty much like it did when i was a kid, the other 2 don't. They taste way worse now than what i remember.

They do not taste the same and are weak on flavor now a days it sucks.

Well chocolate came from cacao beans, cocoa beans are the seeds of a called cacao fruit I call it as the Chocolate Fruit.
